AAA Cards Game #32

So AAA Cards is back with our first challenge of 2015! And new for 2015 we've changed into a fortnightly challenge. We tried it at the end of last year when everyone was so busy with Christmas preparations and it seems you all loved the extra time to gather your ideas and play along. So we listened and totally agree.

I'm not big on making Valentine cards - too old for all that these days - but Victoria's image is just so cool it's difficult not to be inspired. And I have enjoyed seeing all the love cards popping up in blogland and I do have some relevant supplies and it does you good to step out of your comfort zone every now and then. So here's my card:

Super CAS I'm thinking! And this little close up shows the colours more accurately. And I think this is the first appearance this year of my go to twine threaded button.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko Studio, Always & Forever sentiment; Lawn Fawn, tiny hearts from Home Sweet Home
Inks: Memento, rose bud & tuxedo black
Die: Spellbinders
Punch: Martha Stewart, heart
Embellishments: button & twine from my stash

I also want to share a new idea for me this year - 3 photos at the end of each month of things that have made me smile. I'm picking up on an idea by Rachel - here - a crafting blogland friend and fellow designer at The Memory Nest.

My three photos for January:

1. Naturally my new grandson makes me smile and here I am cosied up with him and my other special boy, Murray, on a chilly afternoon.

2. A pretty vase of tulips on my kitchen windowsill.

3. My One Little Word on a handbag charm.

Thanks for looking at my 'smiles', maybe they made you smile too.

Now I'm hoping you'll have time to pop over to AAA Cards and be inspired by all the DT cards. I'm all ready and primed to come visit your blogs and leave you some love about your creativity, so go for it!

Thanks for your time today and keep crafting!
