Monday Moments

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend and the weather was as good in your part of the world as it was here.

Today's card is something a bit different, drawing from the inspiration of zentangle from Claire's workshop the other week.  I bought this lovely stamp at her shop and decided to colour it and lightly doodle on top.  I'm entering it for two challenges - ColourQ and Case Study.

Stamp: Woodware
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: ProMarker, cool aqua, burnt orange, mustard, spice; Pigma Micron 005
Embellishments: buttons from my stash

It was another glorious Autumn  day yesterday so we went off to Gunby Hall as they were having an apple day.  It was such a beautiful house and the gardens were just amazing, probably my favourite visited this year. There was a display of different types of English apples and you could take along an apple from your garden if you wanted it identified - sadly my garden is not big enough to have apple trees.  Hope you enjoy the photos!

Thanks for looking.

  1. Love how you've doodled over the looks so effective and gives the stamp a completely different kind of look. Thanks for joining us at Colour Q this week!

  2. Lovely card, Jan, I too love the doodling! Your photo's are beautiful, love the English countryside! thanks for sharing your card and photo's with us at the colourQ.
