Today's card is all about new beginnings and is one I'm going to keep in mind as we approach 2018. It's going into the challenge at Time Out.
I really love the message in the sentiment, but I'm wondering if it's actually possible to do something new every day. Well it's something I'm certainly going to be thinking about and even if it's not possible to do I know every day always brings something new and I'll be focussing on that.
I was intrigued by the twist in this challenge and somehow this donkey from a Christmas stamp set seemed to match the sentiment - at least it did in my mind. Think I had Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh in my head and how he's so pessimistic and gloomy, in fact the total opposite of the upbeat message of the sentiment. Yeah I'm a bit weird I know!
Supplies:
Stamps: Recious Remembrance shop, D.I.Y.; Clearly Besotted, Little Donkey
Pens: Copics, E51, E55, E57, E59
Pearlised card & washi from my stash
Thanks so much for spending some of your precious time looking at my blog, I so enjoy having you visit. And keep crafting!

Friday Focus
Today I'm sharing a card I made using the Cue Card word from CASology and the sketch from Less is More.
Here's my card:
I started with the sentiment as it was about kindness and I knew that it could be curved on my misti before stamping. The words led me to the sunray stencil and helped me select the colours to use too.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, sentiment from Spring Botanicals Snowdrop
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress, mustard seed, spiced marmalade
Stencil: Create a Smile, Focal Point
I'm so pleased to have had your company for a while today, thanks for your visit. And keep crafting!

Thursday Thoughts
I'm here today to share a card using the sketch from Less is More.
When I first saw this sketch I was a bit unsure of how I could use it, all that dark middle space! But then I took a look at the LIM DT cards and it all became much clearer. This is what I came up with:
The flower swathe was the perfect shape for the bottom corner and then all I needed to do was search out a sentiment the correct size to bend into a curve for the top corner.
A little bit of Copic colouring and I was done.
Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Fairytale Ending, Say It In Style
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, G21, G24, E000, RV02, RV04
Huge thanks for looking today, I really appreciate you visiting my blog. And keep crafting!

Tuesday Talk
Are you still in the midst of all your festive celebrations? Me too! But then what would a celebration be without time to craft a little? So that's exactly what I've done.
Today's share is a card made with the STAMPloration CAS Card Challenge in mind, but it also fits their theme from the Theme & Sketch Challenge.
Here's my card:
It was the gold element from both challenges that had me reaching for the pirate stamps and it was so good to get away from Christmas creations too! This little pirate is so delightful and great fun to colour - pirates allow for lots of different bright colours don't they?
And I matted him onto a golden circle die cut so he has one large golden coin as well as that smaller pile of coins, no wonder he's looking so pleased with himself!
Supplies:
Stamps: MFT, Party Like A Pirate
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitched circle stax
Pens: Copic, Y18,Y35, R20, R24, R29, E000, E00, E57, E59, YR15, YR16, B23, B24, B26; Promarkers, cool grey 1,2,3,4,5
Huge thanks for your time today, it's been a pleasure to have you visit my blog. And keep crafting!

Sunday Slot
WooHoo! It's Christmas Eve! Will Santa be visiting your house tonight? Hope you've been good!
So with stockings in mind I created a little present tag which I'm entering into the TAGplorations challenge.
Here's my tag:
And I've really gone for the optional twist of glitter! Not only did I use glitter cardstock for my tag, but I also coated the stockings liberally with a sparkle pen.
The sentiment is on a chopped off fishtail die and the stockings are raised using foam pads. I finished it all off by adding a red ribbon bow.
Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Warm Hands, Warm Hearts
Inks: SU, real red, wild wasabi; Memento, tuxedo black
Dies: MFT Die-namics, stitched traditional tags, stitched fishtail tags
Pens: Spectrum Noir Sparkle, red, green & clear
Thanks so much for your time, I really appreciate you taking a moment to look at my blog.
Happy Christmas to you - sending you warm wishes and lots of sparkle.

Saturday Spot
Hey! I've managed to find some crafty time amongst all the Christmas mayhem going on round here at the moment. I think I've actually got everything prepared and can sit back and enjoy some me time at last!
So today I made a Christmas card - going into my 2018 stash box - to enter the CUTplorations challenge.
Here's my card:
I was inspired by the grey tree and the oranges and reds I could see on the decorations. My grey tree was simply cut from some holly leaf embossed card. I stamped, coloured and hand cut the presents and popped them up on foam pads before attaching at the base of the tree.
The 'Believe' sentiment was cut once in red and also in white to give it more dimension and I finished off by adding three punched snowflakes.
Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Warm Hands, Warm Hearts
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Dies:CUTplorations, Believe
Punch: Xcut, snowflake
Pens: Copic, N1, R24, R29, YR15, YR16
Huge thanks for looking today and I hope your Christmas preparations are all calm and enjoyable!

Wednesday Words
I'm thinking it's going to be a bit quiet here on my blog until the New Year. I'm pretty much taking a break from card making as my time is increasingly taken up by the festive season and time is running out to get organised!
Today's share is going to be some of my December Non-Daily pages.
So we've been on a journey to visit Santa and tell him our wishes:
And we've got out in the garden to plant the baby Christmas tree that was part of his present:
I'm still enjoying creating these digital pages and love how quickly they come together. All the digital supplies are from Designer Digitals and most are Katie Pertiet.
Thanks so much for dropping by today. I hope to be back to share some more pages soon and who knows maybe even the odd card too. And as always keep crafting!

Uniko December Release - Reveal & Blog Hop
YAY! The big reveal! Just delight your eyes with these new Uniko goodies!
And of course I've made some samples to show how versatile and totally fabulous this new release is!
My first card uses a left over piece of brusho stencilled card from this card HERE. I simply stamped the glorious snowdrop on top and added a little colour using Copic pens.
The sentiment words are from the Snowdrop stamp set too and I die cut them onto a little tag.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Spring Botanicals: Snowdrop
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Brusho, yellow & turquoise
Stencil: Uniko, Broken Lines
Pens: Copic, B00, B02, YG11, YG13, YG17, N1
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched traditional tags
No surprises that I couldn't resist that gorgeous rose stamp for my next card. This time I added some colour and handcut both the rose and leaves.
I popped them both on top of a die cut circle and added just the simplest sentiment to finish off.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pure Florals Rose, Simply Said II
Inks: SU, crushed urry, old olive
Dies: Lil'inker, stitched mats rectangles; MFT Die-namics, Peek-a-boo Circle Window
Pens : Copic, Y13, Y18, Y35, YR15, E000, G40, G99
My final share for today uses both the stencil and stamp set I didn't get round to showcasing in my earlier posts. So the lattice stencil got the brusho treatment and was then die cut into a tag.
The sentiment words are from the freebie stamp set that will be included with all qualifying orders while stocks last - see the Uniko blog for more details.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, freebie So Much
Stencil: Uniko, Lattice
Inks: Versafine, onyx black; Brusho, yellow & ultramarine
Ribbon from my stash
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched traditional tags
As usual there will be a prize of the whole new release to one lucky winner who leaves a lucky comment somewhere on the blog hop. So here's the order so you can get started on your quest to win:

Uniko December Release - Intoducing Pure Florals Rose
Today is the last of the introductions to the Uniko December Release - so excited that tomorrow will be the big reveal, blog hop and your chance to put in an order.
But back to today....
I've three cards to share using the fabulous rose stamp set. These cards are very CAS partly because that's the way I like it and partly because - as you probably know if you follow my blog - I've spent five days in Amsterdam, three of them totally unexpected due to the snow cancelling flights, so I've got a little behind - sorry!
I'm so totally in love with this rose stamp set. It just makes a stunning card simply by stamping it, adding the tiniest amount of colour and leaving it at that!
So a few touches of grey and a die cut frame and I was happy!
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pure Florals Rose
Ink: U, cherry cobbler, old olive
Pens: Copic, N1, G99
Die: Lawn Fawn, stitched rectangular frames
My next sample card is even more pared back and uses the rose bud stamp from the set and one of the sentiments.
No colour, nothing fancy just pure and simple and clean.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pure Florals Rose
Ink: SU, smoky slate; Memento, tuxedo black
Dies: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles
And almost the same again for my last card, but this time using a red card and a heat embossed rose bud glistened up with a Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.
The sentiment is also from the rose set and the heart is from yesterday's intro set BIG & BOLD Hugs.
Supplies:
Stamps:, Uniko, Pure Florals Rose, Big & Bold Hugs
Inks: Versamark clear + Ranger superfine embossing powder black
Pens: Spectrum Noir Sparkle, crystal clear
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched traditional tags
Tomorrow is the day! So be sure to come back and see what myself and the Uniko DT have been up to with this fabulous new release and learn how you could win too!
Mega thanks for visiting today. And keep (Christmas) crafting!
