Friday Focus

Hi! today i'm playing along with the CAS Mix Up Challenge and that involves trying out a technique I've never used before - stamping with rubber bands.

Well that was fun and I really love the look this technique gives. I'm sure I'll be adding this to my arsenal of go to ideas!

So I started by adding rubber bands, both horizontally and vertically, to an acrylic block and had a little play on scrap paper.  Then I masked off a strip on my base card and stamped in two colours quite randomly using the rubber band block.

I stamped the swinging monkey, placing him so that he appeared to be attached to two of the rubber band lines.  I coloured him using my copic pens and finished off by stamping the greeting.

Supplies:
Stamps: Sugar Pea Designs, Caring Critters
Inks: SU, tempting turquiose, baked brown sugar, soft suede
Pens: Copic, B02, B04, E00, E33, E35, E37, N1

Thanks for dropping by today, I hope you like the look of this new to me technique as much as I do.

And keep crafting!
