Today I'm joining in with the challenge at The Paper Players and this week it's a sketch.
Here's my card:
I've really pared down the sketch and used some of my current favourite stamps from Precious Remembrance Shop.
This card will eventually go onto a scrapbook page or Project Life page, but I was so taken by the colours and how this combo of stamps looked that it immediately went onto my MAMBI planner.
Supplies:
Stamps: Precious Remembrance Shop, Fall Colors, New Day, Positive Thoughts
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; SU tempting turquoise, daffodil delight
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, it's always more fun when people drop by.

There is the most magical sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch at the moment and the DT sample cards are just fabulous - there's a couple I'm really in love with!
Here's my card:
I wanted to add to my stock of masculine cards and thought this sketch was an absolute gem for this genre. I started by die cutting, stacking up and double heat embossing the birthday sentiment with holographic embossing powder. I then placed it on the card to help align the Precious Remembrance Shop stamps.
Such a fabulous sketch and I know there's going to be a CASE of at least one of the DT cards pretty soon.
Supplies:
Stamps: Precious Remembrance Shop, DIY & Positive Thoughts; Uniko, Birthday Sentiments
Inks: SU, bermuda bay, pacific point; Versamark clear + Funstamps hologram embossing powder
Die : Winnie & Walter cutaways, birthday
So fun to have your company today, thanks so much for dropping by my blog.

Amazing! AAA cards is celebrating its 4th birthday with an amazing blog hop and many many sponsor prizes to win! Just take a peep......
All the details about how to win are on the challenge blog - HERE - but here's a graphic with the same information in case you can't wait to find out!
Wow! That's so impressive and so easy to be in with a chance too!
And of course it wouldn't be a proper celebration without a birthday card - oh and of course cake but I can't really share that digitally!
I've used stamps from Happy Little Stampers - a really generous and loyal sponsor of AAA Cards.
Don't forget to schedule in a little time to hop round all the talented AAA Cards DT blogs and make sure you leave them a comment - and me too - as that's one of the easiest ways to be in with a chance to win one of seven prizes.

Saturday Slot
I'm playing along with Time Out today and they have a very striking photo for inspiration.
And I went straight for the floral wallpaper.
I stamped some flowers and leaf sprays using the four colours that really stood out for me. And for once I didn't use the misti tool as I wanted a more patchy feel to my stamping.
I then used two of the same ink colours and stamped a sentiment, this time with the misti tool - really shows what a different depth of colour it gives.
Supplies:
Stamps: SU, Bloom & Wishes; Uniko Birthday Sentiments
Inks: SU, melon mambo, pacific point, bermuda bay, lemon lime twist
Die: Spellbinders, classic squares large
So pleased you had time to join me here on my blog today, thanks so much.

Friday Focus
The photo challenge at Inkspirational has the most dreamy and pretty image to inspire card makers.
I thought I knew which stamp I wanted to use, but then while searching for it came across a completely different stamp that I had just about forgotten I had. Don't you love challenges that make you root through your stash and discover a hidden gem?
It was such a joy to colour up this cute and fun image. I was thinking Woo Hoo all the time I was colouring, so of course that had to be the sentiment!

Thursday Thoughts
Today I'm sharing a card I made that was inspired by the beautiful photos from The Card .Concept and The Paper Players.
Although I loved all the flower colours I decided to go for a CAS style, so had to pare down my instincts to use all the colours.
I stamped the image in green to pick up on the backgrounds in the photos. Then I added some colour to the flowers using a mixture of copic and promarker pens.
A simple block greeting finished my card off a treat.
Supplies:
Stamps: Honey Doo Crafts, Flower Frenzy; Uniko, Simply Said Blocks II
Ink: SU, lemon lime twist
Pens: Promarker, peach, oatmeal, vanilla, buttercup; Copic, R32, R35
It's been great fun sharing my blog with you today, thanks so much for your visit.

Wednesday Words
I'm joining in with the challenge at Calling All Sistahs today. They have a beautiful photo to use as inspiration.
Here's how it spoke to me:
The lattice pattern on that gorgeous ceiling just reminded me of feathers for some reason, so that's the way I let myself go! I stamped the block feathers in a light blue and then the detailed feathers on top in black.
The whole thing was matted onto a darker blue cardstock and I was done. Simple!
Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Tickle My Fancy
Inks: SU, marina mist; Memento, tuxedo black
Another day of blogging done and I'm so glad you joined me on this journey. Thanks so much for your time.

Tuesday Talk
Well as we've been having some lovely sunny and quite warm weather here in the UK for a change it seemed only logical to make a card for the CAS Christmas Challenge where the theme is SNOWman! Ha! I must have a very strange sense of humour!
Here's my card:
I used the delightful line of snowmen from Digi Stamp Boutique and had a relaxing time colouring them in with some chilly blues and purples. And I do so love to see a line of images on cards!
I die cut the snowmen into a stitched rectangle and then matted it onto a blue card base. Loving how cool all these blues look.
Supplies:
Stamp: Digi Stamp Boutique, large Christmas Snowmen; HLS, Mixed Christmas Sentiments (retired)
Ink: Versafine, onyx black
Pens: Copic, N1, C1, C3, C5, C7, BV000, BV01, BV04, BV11, BV13, B23, B24, B04, B12, B14, B00, B01, B02
Die: Lil'inker, stitched mats rectangles
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, it's always more fun when I have company.

Monday Moment
Today I'm sharing a card I made using the colours from the current Less is More Challenge.
Here's my card:
I started by masking off two strips near the bottom of the card and added yello and blue ink using a sponge applicator. Then I used the stunning new stamps from Uniko - Just Because - for my grey elements.
I die cut the card into a stitched panel and used a piece of foam to lift it slightly. I finished off by adding a layer of sparkle to the leaf silhouette.
Supplies
Stamps: Uniko, Just Because
Inks: SU, smoky slate; Ranger distress, mustard seed, blueprint sketch
Embelishment: Wink of Stella, clear:
Huge thanks for dropping by my blog today, I always enjoy having you visit.

Sunday Spot
Today I'm sharing a card I created for the colour challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches.
Here's my card:
I decided to give the Clearly Besotted fairy an airing in these rather unusual colours for such an image. Figured some folks would like to see a fairy in a leafy green for a change - was channelling the Flower Fairy vibe!
I used an acryllic block and swiped some of the ink onto it, added a tiny amount of water and used a paint brush to colour the fairy. And as the sentiment suggests she is well sparkled up with a Sakura gelly roll pen.
Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Fairy Tale Fairy
Inks: SU, pacific point, so saffron,, pear pizzazz; Memento, tuxedo black
Pen: sakura gelly roll, clear star.
Thanks for looking today. i really appreciate you taking the time.
