Today I've a sweet little card to share using the cue card from CASology.
Here's my card:
I used stamps from Uniko's Sweet Baby set and a pale blue colour scheme for this congratulations on a new baby card.
I added a little shading onto the bear and also under him to provide a place for him to sit.
Supplies:
Stamps:Uniko, Sweet Baby
Ink: SU, soft sky
Pen: Promarker, tea green
Quick and easy today! But as always huge thanks to you for looking.
And keep crafting!

Friday Focus
It's the sketch from CAS Colours & Sketches that's caught my eye and got me playing along today.
And since that Kaleidacolor ink pad that I loved so much yesterday was still sitting on my craft table it got another use today!
I masked off the diagonal section and brushed ink all over it and then stamped the greeting. The presents are a part stamp from a Concord & 9th stamp onto a stitched die cut rectangle.
And I'm still loving those colours!
Supplies:
Stamps:Concord & 9th, Birthday Stacks
Ink: Kaleidacolor, Caribbean Sea
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles
Thanks you so much for finding time to visit my blog today, I love having you drop by.

Thursday Thoughts
Today I'm playing along with the sketch from The Paper Players.
Here's my card:
I choose a Kaleidacolor ink pad and Precious Remembrance Shop stamps to create this card. I stamped the horizontal strip first and then masked off a rectangular area and brushed ink all over it. I then stamped some random triangles on top.
I stamped the circle onto a piece of scrap card and then used a punch. I raised the circle by using foam pads. Have to say I'm loving these fresh and pretty colours!
Supplies:
Stamps: PRS, Totally 7 little Things
Ink: Kaleidacolor, Caribbean Sea
Punch: Xcut, 1"
Huge thanks for looking today, I really appreciate you taking the time.

Today I'm playing along with the challenge at Calling All Sistahs where they have a gorgeous photo and beautiful colours to inspire!
And it had to have flowers didn't it?
But flowers with a difference! As a child I was totally besotted by ballerinas and even had wallpaper in my bedroom covered with ballet dancers, so it was an absolute delight to pull this CAS-ual Fridays stamp set from my stash.
I used navy blue ink for all the stamping and then coloured the flowers using prismacolor crayons. I drew the frame and added some shadow with a dark blue prismacolor too.
Supplies:
Stamps: CASual Fridays, Tutu
Inks: SU, night of navy
Colours: Prismacolor, indigo blue, aquamarine, process red, cream
I'm very pleased to have had you visit my blog today, thanks a bunch. (Sorry couldn't resist the pun!)

I'm super excited about today's post as I've created my first ever ART journal page! Wow! Such a very very different technique for me!
And here it is:
It was inspired and totally CASEd from STAMPlorations DT member Susanne Rose. I've followed her on instagram and watched her videos for a while now and totally adore her style, so I decided it was time to take the bull by the horns and give it a go!
As you can see I copied quite a lot of the elements from Susanne's page, but added some paste butterflies and outline feathers using ARTploration stencils. I also wanted to add some words and chose this STAMPloration sentiment because it described so perfectly how I felt at the beginning of this project. So scary to actually hand draw items on top of a prepared inky background - squeal!!!!
At the end I was really sad to stop and wanted to keep on adding extra bits, so I don't think this will be my last journey into ART Journalling. I've already got plans to make a book to hold all my pages - and I do love creating mini books and albums. It will be interesting to see how I progress and develop.
Supplies:
Stamps:STAMPlorarions, Noteworthy 2
Inks: Ranger distress, picked raspberry, mermaid lagoon, cracked pistachio, mustard seed; Memento, tuxedo black
Stencils: ARTplorations, Bubbles, Feathers & Arrows, Flutters & Splatters
Paste: Dreamweaver embossing paste
Pens: Sakura gelly roll, white; Uni-ball micro, black; Staedtler Fine Liners, pink, orange, turquoise, green
Thanks you so much for joining me today at the start of a new creative journey, i really appreciate your time

Monday Moments
I found this wonderful sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch and just had to play along with their challenge.
Here's my card:
I masked off a strip near the top of the card and then added two favourite shades of distress ink fairly randomly. Loving how the blue and pink combined to make purple - YAY!
Then I stamped the sentiment and paint splodges from Precious Remembrance Shop on top - beginning to become my go to stamp set! Just love them!
Supplies:
Stamps:PRS, Positive Thoughts
Ink: Ranger distress, picked raspberry, mermaid lagoon; Memento, tuxedo black
Super CAS and totally delicious today, but tomorrow!!!! Well you'll have to wait and see...... but it is something completely different and new to me!
Thanks for looking today, love that you found time to come take a peep.

AAA Cards Challenge #118 - Use a Frame
For the next fortnight the theme for AAA Cards has been chosen by DT Ksenija and she would like to see a frame on your CAS cards. She has a wonderful post about frames and staying CAS on her blog - HERE.
And since this Concord & 9th stamp and die was out on my desk from yesterday I decided to use it along with some goodies from our sponsor STAMPlorations.
I started by die cutting the frame and then used it to place the string and nail stamp. I then masked off the frame area and used a STAMPloration stencil and distress inks to create the picture background. I added an uplifting STAMPloration sentiment and the paint splatters from Precious Remembrance shop.
To finish off I used a Copic pen to add some shadow to the frame.
Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Noteworthy; PRS, Positive thoughts
Inks:Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress, picked raspberry, wilted violet
Stencil: ARTplorations, Happy Flowers
Die: Concord & 9th, Furry Friends
Pens: Copic, C1, C5
I have to say you will be blown away by the AAA Cards DT cards and of course our fabulous Guest Designer Natasha too! Find them all HERE.
Thanks for your time today, it's always more fun when I have some company.

Saturday Slot
Today I'm playing along with STAMPlorations and CASEing another of their DT cards.
I really loved all the greys and the use of animals and a frame in Cornelia's card and that's where I started when creating my card.
I used a combination of stamps and a die from different companies and kept with the animal themeand the greys. I moved the vertical strip from Cornelia's card right to the edge on my card, but placed the sentiment and ink splatters pretty much the same.
Supplies:
Stamps: Concord & 9th, Furry Friends; Precious Remembrance Shop, Fall Colors & Positive thoughts
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; SU, smoky slate
Dies: Concord & 9th, Furry Friends
Pens: Copic, W5, C1, C5
I think CASEing cards is one of my favourite ways to get inspired and try out new ideas, so don't be surprised if I find more STAMPlorations DT cards to try my hand at! But for now thanks for looking and joining me today.

Friday Focus
Well it might have been a lovely sunny week, but today's card has a different time of year in mind as I'm playing at CAS Christmas.
I've used a stag on my card to meet the masculine influence required for this challenge.
I bought this stag die a couple of years ago for my December Daily album and it's not seen the light of day since. So time to show it some love! I used a balck star patterned paper - the stars are silver and shiny in real life - to cut this handsome looking fella.
I chose a simple font sentiment stamp which I thought was in keeping with the masculine theme and then added a little bit of shadowing around the stag using Copic pens.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Simply Said Christmas
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: Xcut, Woodland Stag
Paper: Forever Friends, Classic Decadence
Pens: Copic, C1, C3, C5
I'm so grateful that you found time to drop by today, I always enjoy having visitors.

Thursday Thoughts
Today I'm playing at Let's Get Sketchy so it's a scrapbook page.
I took a break from scrapping wedding pics and went back to my old favourite subject - one of my grandsons As he's the only one who lives close by and I look after him a couple of days each week he tends to get the lion's share of photos and pages.
I started with some green background paper from Shimelle's Box of Crayons, then pretty much all the other papers, stickers and cards were from the same collection. It's such a fun and bright collection and seemed to match the bright colours of his shirt and all the grass.
As my husband plays golf and is always watching it on television I bought this cheap little golf set from my local Co-op and then watched in fascination as he tried to balance his golf ball on the tee borrowed from Grandad's bag. Fine motor skill development without even knowing it!
Although the sketch was an easy one to follow circles always challenge me. To create them I drew round the inside and outside of a circular die with a white gelly pen. A few trios of enamel dots and I was done.
Supplies:
Papers, & stickers: AC Shimelle, Box of Crayons
Embellishments: enamel dots, gelly pen from my stash

Wednesday Words
I'm here today to share a card I made using the theme from Inkspirational and the colours from Just Us Girls.
Here's my card:
The small stamp images I chose really dictated the extra colour I chose - it had to be yellow because of the coins!
I die cut the window and then stamped the treasure chest and coins onto the piece of card cut out. This was coloured, the coins sparkled up and then inserted back into the window. The parrot was stamped, coloured and fussy cut before popping up onto pads for extra dimension.
Supplies:
Stamps: MFT, Party Like A Pirate
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, rectangle peek-a-boo window
Pens: Copic, Y00, Y13, Y18, R29, R37, R39, C7; Wink of Stella, clear
Great to have your company today, thanks so much for your visit.

I've a really cute and very spotty card to share today. I'm playing along at Crazy for CAS where they'd like you to CASE the given card. Many thanks to my friend Maaike for helping with with the translation of this challenge.
And here's my card:
As you can see I picked up on all the dotty spotty elements! I also followed the layout, just rotating it to portrait, and as the owl on the original is so cute I also chose a cute stamp.
I paper pieced the little girl which took me a while to figure out how to do it. After a few failed attempts I eventually realised I needed to fussy cut her head and plaits so that I could get the umbrella paper in behind them!
Supplies:
Stamps: MFT, Rain or Shine
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, E000, R20, BG32, BG34, E59, Y13, E33, E35, E37
