Wednesday Words

I'm playing along with Calling All Sistahs for a second time this month.

The photo prompt had me very challenged but then good friend Sandie encouraged me to take part by suggesting my DT card for AAA Cards - HERE - would be a fit. So I decided rather than enter the same card I would CASE myself and make a fresh new card. And here it is:

I used the colours from the photo and stamped the quote in blue, the flower in red and then added a little grey using a Copic pen. And of course my card base is white. The idea is that the flower head looks a little like the balls exploding from the net in the photo.

Supplies:
Stamps: CASual Fridays, Big Treble & Truth Is
Inks: SU, blueberry bushel, real red
Pens: Copic, N1

Thanks to all of you for looking today and thanks to Sandie for her encouragement - exactly what this challenge is all about!

And keep crafting!

  1. oh this really is the most wonderful card for this challenge and I adore you CASEd yourself-I am always doing this! Changing up the colours really does change the look of the card. You used our colours so creatively. My fav part is the subtle colouring of the grey-so subtle, yet so effective. And the sentiment just perfect for an encouregement card-a joy to see you at Calling All Sistahs. We appreciate that you support us so much.
