Wednesday Words
Today I'm joining in with the challenge at Inkspirational where they want you to use vellum.
Here's my card:
I started by heat embossing the stamp onto vellum and then used Copic pens to colour it on the back. Well I should say I meant to colour it on the back, but actually coloured it on the front by mistake. But vellum is very forgiving and I simply turned it over and the back became the front - if you get my drift.
I then hand cut the floral bouquet and adhered it onto white cardstock. I added a sentiment and it was done.
Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Blossom Sparays #2; Uniko, All Occasion Sentiments #6
Inks: Versafine, clear + Ranger superfine white embossing powder; Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, B28, B29, B02, B04, BG34, V17
I'm so pleased that you had time to drop by my blog today, thanks so much.
And keep crafting!

Uniko October Release - Introducing BIG & BOLD: Merry & Background Builders: Christmas 2018
The last of the introductions to Uniko's October release today. And there's a bit of a Christmas vibe going on.
I wasn't too sure how the inks would take to the paper bag or if I could squeeze it into my misti, but i decided to give it a go. And the results are pretty good when compared to the gift tag which is regular card stock.
Supplies:
Stamps: Background builders Christmas 2018 + sentiment strip from Background Builders Christmas
Inks: SU, real red, emerald envy, baked brown sugar
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched traditional tags
Now since I've been neglecting the purples a bit my final offering today is a bright and sparkly purple and silver Christmas card.
I simply stamped the strips onto white card, edged them with silver washi - trimmed right down on the top and bottom strips - and matted it all onto a purple card base. Easy peasy!
Supplies:
Stamps: Background Builders Christmas 2018 & Background builders Christmas
Ink: Ranger distress, wilted violet
Silver washi from my stash
OK that's all the introduction completed. Tomorrow sees the big reveal and blog hop in the morning and then the stamps go on sale in the evening - 9.00pm UK time.
Thanks for looking today and be sure to pop by tomorrow when I've a trio of Christmas cards to share with you.
And while you're waiting keep crafting!
Just two projects to share today and I'm starting with a decorated Christmas gift bag.

Uniko October Release - Introducing Sweet Broom & Quilted Stencil
Hey! I'm back again today to introduce the next two new October release goodies from Uniko.
I'm kicking off with a couple of cards using the stamp set - it's so pretty!
I went for a trailing vine sort of look and stamped the outline first and then used the filler stamp in the same shade but stamped off first to make it lighter. I added in a greeting from an older Uniko stamp set and coloured the tiny seed heads with a Copic pen.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Sweet Broom, Birthday Sentiments
Inks: Memento, Paris dusk
Pens: Copic, BV04, C0
I used the same stamp set for my next card, but with a really pared down CAS look.
I stamped with two shades of green and then added in some shadow using Copic pens. The greeting is from Simply Said Blocks II.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Sweet Broom, Simply Said Blocks II
Inks: SU, old olive, pear pizazz, sahara sand
Pens: Copic, W0, W1, W3, W5
I'm finishing up with a card using the new Quilted stencil.
I chose some citrus colours of oxide inks and placed the stencil off the top of my card as I wanted those little drops to look like they were dripping down the card. I stamped and hand cut the sentiment and raised it onto pads.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Big & Bold: Hello
Stencil: Uniko, Quilted
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, twisted citron, wild honey
Well that's me done for today, I really hope you're liking my introductions. One more day of introductions to go then on Tuesday there will be the full reveal, a blog hop and maybe even a prize!
Thanks for looking today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for more. In the meantime keep crafting!

Uniko October Release - Introducing Scandinavian Christmas & Christmas Folk Snowflake Stencils & Simply Said Blocks Christmas
Hi! I'm here today to introduce some more of Uniko's October new release.
Two stencils:
And a stamp set:
My first two cards both feature the Scandinavian Christmas stencil combined with the Simply Said Blocks Christmas stamp set.
I used the stencil with embossing paste and a traditional red coloured card. I die cut a stitched window and popped the embossed panel behind it. Then I stamped and heat embossed a greeting, mounted it onto pads and adhered it below the window.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Simply Said Blocks Christmas
Stencil: Uniko, Scandinavian Christmas
Ink: Versamark, clear + Wow sparkling snow embosing powder
Paste : Dreamweaver white embossing paste
Die: MFT Dienamics, rectangle peek-a-boo window
I used the same supplies for my next card, but changed up the colours to purple and silver. Ha, no surprises there then!
This time I used distress oxide inks with the stencil and then added some silver sparkle card to glam it all up.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko Simply Said Blocks Christmas
Stencil: Uniko, Scandinavian Christmas
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, wilted violet, seedless preserves, picked raspberry; Ranger distress, wilted violet
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles
Silver card and washi from my stash
My last share for today steps away from Christmas even though it uses the Christmas Folk Snowflake stencil. I chose some warm autumnal distress oxide collours and used a sentiment from an older Uniko set.
I have to say I'm totally smitten by this stencil. I just love how easy it is to use and the results are quite spectacular. I actually placed it at an angle on my card stock - sort of a diamond rather than a square - before adding the ink.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Big & Bold Hello
Stencil: Uniko, Christmas Folk Snowflake
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, fossilized amber, wild honey, candied apple; Memento, tuxedo black
That's today's shares over, but I'll be back again tomorrow with some more cards and not a Christmas card in sight!
Thanks for visiting today, hope to see you tomorrow. But in the meantime keep crafting!

Uniko October Release - Introducing Background Builders: Christmas and Jolly Christmas
I'm so pleased you've dropped by today as I'm introducing the first two stamp sets from Uniko's October Release.
Maybe if you've been a follower of Uniko for as long as me you'll recognise these two sets. They were always big favourites of mine and I was sad when they went into retirement. So I'm really thrilled to say Bev has decided to wake them up and re-release them.
And here's some cards to whet your appetite a bit more:
I'm starting with a card using two of the Background Builder stamp strips. I embossed the snowflakes in sparkly white and then inked over in a couple of blue shades of distress ink.
I then stamped the greeting strip in the same ink and matted it onto a silver sparkly washi tape strip. I then matted it all onto a matching blue base card.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background builders: Christmas
Inks: Ranger Distress, mermaid lagoon, blueprint sketch
My next card uses stamps from both of today's sets and one of my favourite layouts - a simple line of images.
I decided to only add colour to the centre Santa and also glittered him up a bit with a Sakura gelly roll pen.
Supplies:
Stamps: uniko, Background builders: Christmas, Jolly Christmas
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; SU, cherry cobbler
Pens: Copic, R29;
Sakura gelly roll, clear star
My final card for today is a simple CAS style again using stamps from both of today's sets.
I started by stamping the holly leaves and berries and then added the tree, star and sentiments. I added a strip of green card to the left hand side - another favourite layout style for me.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Builders: Christmas, Jolly Christmas
Inks: SU, old olive, cherry cobbler
Well that completes the first day of introductions to Uniko's October release. I'll be back tomorrow with some sample cards using two of the new stencils and a new sentiment stamp set. See you then!
