Uniko Challenge #50 - Celebrate, Optional Twist GOLD

I'm here today to tell you all about the fabulous new challenge that is starting at Uniko.

As the shops put on their Christmas spectacular displays it would seem rude not to join in. so the theme for the November/ December challenge is Celebrate with the optional twist of GOLD.

Although of course there are many other reasons to celebrate I decided to go along with Christmas and used an interesting technique - Black Ice - to get the twist of GOLD onto my card.

This was so difficult to photograph to show the glisten and light catching effect, so apologies for the slightly blurry photo above.

I used the beautiful Poinsettia stamp for the main image. I then die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die and added a heat embossed greeting at the bottom.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pure Florals: Poinsettia
Inks: Versamark clear; StazOn, jet black; Stampendous, clear embossing powder; Personal Impressions, gold embossing powder
Die: Li'inker, stitched mats rectangles

Do go check out all the wonderful inspiration from the Uniko DT and our amazing Guest Designer Mugdha - HERE.  Then get busy with those celebration cards and play along. Oh and of course there are prizes!

Thanks so much for looking today, it's been so good to have your company.  And keep crafting!
