I'm super delighted to be here today with my second spot as Guest Designer at Tag You're It.
I love those dainty flowers and the beautiful colours and this tag came together in no time at all.
I stamped and coloured the little girl and then hand cut her. I paper pieced the dress and then added a background tag using the same paper. I thought the flowers and colours really picked up on the challenge graphic. I added a really apt greeting down the side of the top tag.
I popped her up onto foam pads and then added a trio of matching coloured ribbons to tie the two tags together.
Supplies:
Stamps MFT, Love You A bunch
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched traditional tags
Pens: Copic, C0, C3, Y18, Y35, YR15, E000, R20, R22, R24, B02, B04, BV01, BV11, RV55, RV63
Will you be playing along with the Tag You're It Challenge? I love creating tags and the challenge creating on a smaller scale provides. Do go check out the DT cards over on the Tag You're It blog - HERE - they're amazing!
Huge thanks for dropping by today, hope you'll come back again soon.

CAS on Friday Guest Designer
I'm super delighted to be here today to share a card I made as Guest Designer at CAS on Friday.
The theme is Birds and I used those quirky and fun chickies from STAMPlorations for my card.
I simply stamped the birds in a row - do you know I love things in a row, must be something to do with my tidy gene! I then added a splotch of colour to each bird using a stamp from STAMPlorations Art Marks.
Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Fowl Play, Art Marks
Inks: Verafine Calir, nocturne; Memento, lady bug, dandelion, danube blue
I know the DT from CAS on Fridays will have created wonderful inspiration for you to get your ideas flowing. Check them all out HERE.
Thanks for looking and enjoy your day while you keep crafting!

Uniko Challenge Reminder
I'm here today to remind you about the challenge that's going on at Uniko.
For this reminder post I decided not to go with the masculine twist and created a water coloured card using the new Butterfly Designer Die as a focal point.
I started by preparing a water coloured background and stamping over it with the French Script. I then stamped and die cut the large butterfly and used watered brusho colours to paint it.
The butterfly was mounted onto foam pads and placed upon a circle die cut before adding to the card. A liberal coat of sparkly Wink of Stella was added. I finished off the card with a hand cut sentiment and a trio of clear gems.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, English Country Garden Butterflies, Large Background French Script, Simply Said Birthday, Happy Succulents
Inks: Brusho, turquoise, yellow & ultramarine; SU, mint macaron; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Dies: Uniko, English Country Garden Butterflies; MFT Die-namics, double stitched circles
Embellishments: Wink of Stella, clear; Pretty Pink Posh, clear gems
Don't forget to join in and play with this oh so easy Uniko Challenge - there are fabulous prizes to be won! Check it all out HERE.
Massive thanks for dropping by today, it's been the greatest pleasure to have your company.

Wednesday Words
Hey! Today I have a card to share that has plenty of smooth empty 'white' space, but it's not white! Did you know that 'white' space doesn't have to be white? Surprised me too when I first learnt that!
I'm entering my card into two challenges - Time Out and Less is More.
Here's that card:
I started by heat embossing the gorgeous chrysanthemum from Uniko - I always feel really pleased with myself once I've typed chrysanthemum, such a tricky one to spell! Then I used my Prismacolor pencils to add colour. Love how bright and vibrant they look even when colouring on dark card.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pure Florals Chrysanthemum
Inks: Versamark claear + Ranger superfine white embossing powder
Prismacolor pencils: crimson red, pale vermilion, orange, canary yellow
Huge thanks for looking today, I'm really very chuffed to have had your company.

Monday Moment
Today I'm sharing a card I created for the Weekend Workout on the AAA Cards fb group. Have you joined this group yet? We're a very friendly bunch and we have three fun events each month - a card exchange, a card lottery and a weekend workout challenge - and lots of chatter too. come on over and give it a go!
This Weekend Workout challenge was to make a card using only black and white. Here's my take:
I used Uniko's Life Is A Song. I know music brings a whole spectrum of colour into people's lives, but I was thinking more along the lines that sheet music is usually black and white.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Life is a Song
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Enormous thanks for dropping by today, it's always more fun when I get company.

Short and sweet today, in a hurry to play with some new digis from STAMPlorations and my head is buzzing with ideas! Thanks so much for dropping by, hope to see you come back again soon.

Tag You're It Guest Designer
I'm super delighted to be Guest Designing with Tag You're It today. Thank you so much for this opportunity.
And what a pretty inspiration image to use as a starting point.
I used a host of colours from the graphic and a whole bunch of stamps from Uniko. This was one of those I don't want to stop stamping kind of projects and I really enjoyed creating it.
I finished my tag off with a trio of ribbons and a fairly generic sentiment as I'm not sure how it will be used yet.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Wonderful Day, Mid Century Modern Florals, Fun Flowers, Simply Said II, Happy Succulents
Inks: SU, wisteria wonder, elegant eggplant, mint macaron, emerald envy, pirouette pink, rose red, daffodil delight, tangerine tango, lemon lime twist; Memento, lilac posies, grape jelly, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched traditional tags
Enamel dots & ribbon from my stash
I know the Tag You're It DT will have loads of gorgeous inspiration tags for you to feast your eyes on. Check them all out HERE.

Thursday Thoughts
Just squeezing a card into the challenge at CAS Stencil!
I have a huge stack of patterned paper pads that don't get used nowhere near enough so today's card is a tiny step to rectifying that.
I chose a paper that looked like it was a meadow with hills and sky and then placed an ARTplorations flower stencil on top. I used distress oxides to ink through and made sure there was a good layer of ink as the background greens are quite dark. I was really excited when I lifted the stencil and saw the result!
I then die the panel into a smaller stitched rectangle, added a sentiment and matted the whole thing onto a dark green card base.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Birthday Sentiments
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, squeezed lemonade, picked raspberry, wilted violet; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Die: Lil'inker, stitched mats rectangles
Thanks so much for dropping by my blog today, you know I always love to have you visit.

Today I'm sharing a card I created using the picture inspiration from Cutplorations.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, New Beginnings; Uniko, Background Blocks Graffiti, Wonderful Day, Mid Century Modern Florals
Inks: SU, sahara sand, crushed curry; Memento, teal zeal, tuxedo black
Dies: MFT Die-namics, polaroid shaker frame; Unknown, birds on a branch

I used the colours and the background textures to inspire my card.
I die cut the polaroid frame and placed it on the card front to help me decide where to stamp the background images. I then die cut the bird and placed them on top of the frame.
I chose an uplifting sentiment quote that I thought matched and stamped it under the frame.
