Uniko July Release - Introducing Large Background Tropical Paradise

Hi! Welcome back to another day of introductions to Uniko's July release.

Today's stamp set is the most beautiful collection of tropical leaves and combines perfectly with the already released Uniko Paradise collection of stamp sets.

I've made a trio of cards, two of which use the previously released Uniko stamps and one using all new sets.

First up is a card I created using the Large Background Tropical Paradise with yesterday's Sentiment Outlined set.

I stamped the sentiment first and then stamped it again onto sticky paper so that I could cut a mask to cover it. Once covered I stamped the Large Background Tropical Paradise leaves in green and coloured them using Copic pens in a variety of green shades.

Once I lifted the mask from the greeting I decided to add some contrasting colour to it with my Copic pens and them matted the card onto some matching hot pink card stock before using a plain white card base.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Large Background Tropical Paradise.
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; SU, emerald envy
Pens: Copic, YG03, YG11, YG13, YG17, G21, G40, GB32, BG34, RV66

My next two cards are both scenes created by combining with previously released Uniko stamp sets.

I created the background for this card by embossing the Large Background Tropical Paradise leaves in clear onto watercolour card. I then added the colours using Arteza brush pens. I die cut this panel and matted it onot green before adhering to a black card base.

The Hummingbird was stamped, hand cut, coloured and sparkled up before adding on top of the background using foam pads for extra dimension.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Large Background Tropical Paradise, Paradise Hummingbird
Inks: Versamark + Stampendous clear embossing powder
Pens: Arteza brush, arctic blue, parakeet green, teal; Wink of Stella, clear
Die: Lil'inker, stitched mats rectangles

My final card uses a section of the Large Background Tropical Paradise which I stamped, coloured and hand cut from watercolour card.

I then stamped, coloured and hand cut the toucan from Paradise and adhered it under the foliage. I also used a sentiment from Paradise.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Large Background Tropical Paradise, Paradise
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress, lucky clover, blueprint sketch

And that's me done for today. If you'd like to see more of today's stamp go visit the Uniko DT blogs - you'll find links HERE

Thanks for looking today and be sure to come back tomorrow when the new stamps have a bit of a nautical feel.

In the meantime keep crafting!
