Uniko March Revisit Blog Hop - Pure Florals Gerbera

I'm so pleased that you've dropped by today as I'm showcasing the gorgeous Uniko Pure Florals Gerbera as part of their Re-Visit Blog Hop.

As I sat looking out of my window I was cheered by the sight of all the bright yellow daffodils in my garden and just had to colour up the gerbera to reflect this.

I chose the smaller of the two outline stamps in this set and stamped it at the top of my card to allow it to have maximum impact. I used Copic pens as a base colour and then went back in with Miya oil pencils to add detail.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko Pure Florals Gerbera, Birthday Wishes
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Colours: Copic, Y04, Y13, Y18, YG03, YG23; Miya oil pencils

My second  card uses the larger flower solid stamp and - yes you've guessed it, shades of purple.

I stamped it with purple ink and then used the matching die to cut it. Once again I went back in with Miya oil pencils to add some shading detail.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pure Florals Gerbera
Die: Uniko, Pure Florals Gerbera
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Adirondack, purple twilight
Colours: Miya oil pencils

My last card uses the small solid stamps and one of the leaves.

I used a stitched banner for the sentiment and placed it so that stamped images are tucked under.I couldn't make up my mind which way round to place the die cuts, but in the end went with the more quirky upside down version.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pure Florals Gerbera, Simply Said Birthday
Ink:Memento, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched fishtail flag
Colours: Copic, G17, G28, R27, R29, R39

Here's the blog hop order and you can find all the details on the Uniko blog:
