Uniko February Release - Introducing Stencil Abstract Triangles & Clear Stamps Birthday Wishes

Yay! I'm so pleased to see you today as it's time for the second introduction to Uniko's spectacular new February release. and it yesterday got your interest piqued, wait till you see what's up today!

I used the stencil for my first card and paired it up with the wonderful BIG & BOLD Happy from yesterday's introduction.

I used the stencil with a couple of bottles of acrylic spray paint - a bargain buy from Lidyl. Love how the colours mixed and the splattery look achieved.

I stamped the happy in red and then die cut it with the matching die and used the larger die to shadow matt it to black card stock. I finished off by stamping the rest of the greeting and matting the whole thing onto a black card base.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, BIG & BOLD Happy
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne; CreaBox Acrylic Spray, yellow & red; SU, real red
Stencil: Uniko, Abstract Triangles

My next card also uses the stencil and the a wordy sentiment from Birthday Wishes.

The blue and green background was created using distress ink and salt on water colour card stock. Once dry I die cut it using a stitched rectangle and then placed the stencil over and drew round the triangles with a fine sharpie pen - just how we used to use stencils back in my school days!

I then stamped the greeting and trimmed it close with my trimmer and added it on top. I matted it all onto a thin black layer and then onto a white card base.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Birthday Wishes
Inks: Ranger distress, mermaid lagoon, lucky clover; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Stencil: uniko, Abstract Triangles
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles

Are you in love with that stencil like me? Perfect for those tricky masculine cards I'm thinking. Go check out what the rest of the Uniko DT have created HERE and be amazed!

Thanks for visiting today and be sure to come back tomorrow for another incredible introduction - it's going to be a MUST HAVE!

And keep crafting!

Uniko February Release - Introducing BIG & BOLD Happy Clear Stamps & Designer Dies

Today sees the first of the introductions to Uniko's February Release. And it's a brilliant way to kick off. This stamp set and the matching dies are already becoming an essential for me and I know they will be for you too!

For my first card I didn't stamp the happy but simply used the two dies matted to from a shadow effect. Once they were placed I then stamped the rest of the greeting and the trio of pinwheels and added a red gem close to each one.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, BIG & BOLD Happy
Ink: Versafine Calir, nocturne; Memento, Bahama blue
Die: Uniko, BIG & BOLD Happy
Red gems from my stash

My next card uses the same colour scheme but this time I've stamped and die cut the large happy.

I started by stamping the happy in black, die cut it and then popped it back into the aperture.  I then added the smaller words and a couple of accents using the little confetti stamp from this set. The card front was double matted onto blue and then red card stock.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, BIG & BOLD Happy
Inks: Memento, Bahama blue & lady bug, Versafine Clair, nocturne
Die: Uniko, BIG & BOLD Happy

Be sure to go and check out how the rest of the DT have showcased this stamp and die set - HERE. It's going to be on your wish list for sure!

Thanks so much for dropping by today, I'll be back tomorrow with another introduction - a stencil and a stamp set. Hope to see you then!

I'm here today to remind you about the challenge that's going on at the moment at Uniko.  It's a super easy theme - Anything Goes with the optional twist of LOVE.

Here's a card I created using the twist and some Uniko goodies.

I started by stamping the hearts background using a pastel Kaleidacolor ink pad. Then I die cut it into a heart. Next I stamped the sentiment onto a white card base and the word music onto a stitched die cut rectangle.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Scattered Polka Hearts Large Background & Life Is a Song
Inks: Kaleidacolor, baby powder; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Dies: Lawn fawn, Outside In Heart Stackables; MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles

I hope you'll find time to pop over to the Uniko blog to be inspired by the cards from more of the Uniko DT.

Uniko Revisit Blog Hop

This month at Uniko we're revisiting a previously released stamp set and giving it some more love. Bev has asked the DT to choose a favourite release from 2018 and I've plumped for Beautiful.

BeautifulPP

For my first card I was inspired by pansy colours and played around with some Prisma Color pencils to create some different combinations.

I stamped all the flower heads first, then added the sentiment and finally filled in some of the spaces with the leaves and circles from Natures Treasures II and Wonderful Day.

My next card is much simpler. I stamped the outline flowers in a strip across my card and then added colour using the Uniko Style stamp set.

I added the greeting from Beautiful and then matted the card onto a vibrant pink card base.

And - you may have guessed this - my final card is even more simple. In fact it's super CAS!

I stamped the flower onto patterned paper and hand cut it. I added the greeting and a trio of tiny black gems, used a matching coloured card base and I was done.

Supplies:
Stamps:Uniko, Beautiful, Uniko Style, Wonderful Day, Natures Treasures II
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Color Box, guava, grape; Memento, tuxedo black
Col0or: Prisma colouring pencils
Gems: Papermania, iridescent 3mm

I'm really excited to see which stamp sets the rest of the Uniko DT have chosen - find them all HERE.

And here's the blog hop order to help you on your way to winning a prize. Oh did I forget to mention that one lucky person who leaves a comment at each stop around the hop will be in with a chance to win a £20.00 gift certificate to the store.

Thanks so much for visiting today.

Uniko December New Release Blog Hop

I'm so pleased you dropped by today as I'm showcasing the Uniko December new release.

There are three stamp sets and two stencils in this release and you are so going to love them all.

First up is a wonderful new addition to the Pure Florals series of stamp sets. If you love big and bold flower stamps this set will get you very excited.

For my card I dug out an old Spellbinders die and cut it in dark green and then used it as a mat for a white circle. The largest peony was stamped, coloured using Copic pens and then hand cut and mounted on pads before adhering to the circular mat.

The greeting was stamped onto white card and then the whole thing matted onto the dark green card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pure Florals: Peony
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Pens: Copic, G94, G99, V12, V15, E000
Die: Spellbinders, lacey circles & standard circles small

My next card showcases my personal favourite from this release - Snowflake Serenade. This is perfect for those last minute Christmas cards as you can just stamp and go!

Once stamped all I did was add a few touches of colour and some small adhesive gems before adhering to a plain white card base.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Snowflake Serenade
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Pens: Copic, G28, E000
Gems: Papermania, iridescent

A beautiful layering stamp set is coming up next - Wonderful Day.  This set is just so versatile and colours can be used in a variety of different combinations. For my card I went with a trio of Altenew  pinks.

I kept this card nice and CAS to allow the beauty of the stamps to shine.

Supplies:
Stamps:Uniko, Wonderful Day
Inks: Altenew, rose quartz, puffy heart, purple wine

I'm finishing off with a pair of cards which follow the same design using the two stencils from this release - In The Forest and Let It Snow.

I used some blue polka dot card, added the stencil on top and inked with distress oxides. I then stamped a greeting from Festive Sentiments onto a stitched rectangular die cut and popped it on top and matted the whole thing onto a white card base.

Supplies:
Stencils: Uniko, In The Forest, Let It Snow
Stamp: Uniko, Festive Sentiments
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, TREE - salty ocean, cracked pistachio, SNOWFLAKES - faded jeans, wilted violet, salty ocean
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles

Well I'm sure you're now itching to get these goodies into your baskets. So I'll just leave you with the blog hop order in case you fancy the chance to win the entire release by leaving comments as you go.

Jane - that's me

Huge thanks for visiting my blog today.  Good luck and remember to keep crafting!
