I used the stencil for my first card and paired it up with the wonderful BIG & BOLD Happy from yesterday's introduction.
I used the stencil with a couple of bottles of acrylic spray paint - a bargain buy from Lidyl. Love how the colours mixed and the splattery look achieved.
I stamped the happy in red and then die cut it with the matching die and used the larger die to shadow matt it to black card stock. I finished off by stamping the rest of the greeting and matting the whole thing onto a black card base.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, BIG & BOLD Happy
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne; CreaBox Acrylic Spray, yellow & red; SU, real red
Stencil: Uniko, Abstract Triangles
My next card also uses the stencil and the a wordy sentiment from Birthday Wishes.
The blue and green background was created using distress ink and salt on water colour card stock. Once dry I die cut it using a stitched rectangle and then placed the stencil over and drew round the triangles with a fine sharpie pen - just how we used to use stencils back in my school days!
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Birthday Wishes
Inks: Ranger distress, mermaid lagoon, lucky clover; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Stencil: uniko, Abstract Triangles
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles
Are you in love with that stencil like me? Perfect for those tricky masculine cards I'm thinking. Go check out what the rest of the Uniko DT have created HERE and be amazed!
Thanks for visiting today and be sure to come back tomorrow for another incredible introduction - it's going to be a MUST HAVE!
And keep crafting!
