25 Days Of Christmas Tags 2017

Today I'm here sharing a Christmas tag I made using Uniko products as they are sponsoring Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags challenge today.

And what is it about small projects that allows me to forget I'm a CAS kinda crafter? Well this tag definitely has no clear white space!

I stamped and stencilled all over the two die cut tags using tradiitional Christmas colours. I even added a red bow for good measure.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Builders Christmas, Winter Foliage, Jingle Bells, Essentially Christmas
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black, rhubarb stalk, bamboo leaves; SU, crumb cake
Stencil: TCW, mini tiny circles
Die: Die-namics, stitched traditional tags
Ribbon from my stash

You can check out the rest of the Uniko DT creations at Tracey McNeely's challenge here. Have fun and enjoy!

Thanks for your time today, I really appreciate your visit to my blog.  And keep crafting!

The Memory Nest - Make It Monday Challenge #75

The first of the November challenges starts today over at The Memory Nest. And the sketch is just so much fun!

http://thememorynest.blogspot.com/2016/10/make-it-monday-no-75.html

I really went to town with the circular theme of the sketch and added loads more.

I love stamping and do it all the time when I'm making cards and sometimes on my scrap pages too. Well for this page I really had a stamping frenzy and even stamped my title too.

I selected papers that reflected those from the photo and die cut a pile in different sized circles.

I added the date and journalling to some circles and a couple had stickers added.

I finished off with a triangle of enamel dots in three different places on my page. I think this helps to highlight some key areas.

Supplies:
Paper: AC, Rise & shine; ep, Note to Self; scraps from my stash
Dies: Spellbinders, Standard Circles Small
Stamps: Vivible Image, smile sparkle shine & universal
Ink: SU, baked brown sugar
Stickers: My Mind's Eye, now & then; The Aweetest thing; MAMBI sticks
Enamel dots: My Mind's Eye, now & then; Simple Sotries, So Rad

Do go check out how the rest of the DT used this sketch - here - you'll be amzed by how different they all look given that they all had the same starting point.

Thanks for looking today. And keep crafting!

AAA Cards - #77 Thanks/Thanksgiving

A topical theme at AAA Cards for the next fortnight - thanks or thanksgiving.

http://aaacards.blogspot.com/2016/11/cas-game-77-thanksthanksgiving.html

And as I'm from the UK I opted for thanks. Always a useful card to have tucked away in your stash.

I started by masking a circle and then stamping the script in grey all over a piece of card. This was then die cut into a stitched rectangle and the thanks stamped in a pop of red through the middle.

I added three sets of enamel dot triangles to add even more pops of red and I was done. Quick, easy and CAS.

Supplies:
Stamps: HLS, Thinking of You
Inks: SU, cherry cobbler, smoky slate
Dies: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles
Embellishments: Doodlebug Sprinkles, ladybug asst.

So which part of the theme will it be for your card? The AAA Cards DT have amazing inspiration for you - here - so do go visit thewir blogs and leave them some love. Always lovely to read nice comments!

Thanks for looking at my blog today, your time and company is always appreciated.  And keep crafting!

Happy Little Stampers - November Christmas Challenge

This month at Happy Little Stampers the Christmas Challenge is all about using watercolours.  Such a very popular technique with the possibility of wonderfully random results.

http://www.happylittlestampers.com/2016/11/hls-november-christmas-challenge.html

Here's my card. And oops purple is allowed for Christmas, right? Thought so!!!!

I started by using the smooshing technique to add inks to watercolour card. Once it was dry I stamped the deer and trees on top of it, adding some more of the same ink colours to the saddle, scarf, nose and hooves using a fine brush.

I die cut the central square and a frame and then added this fun sentiment and a couple of sequin trios.

Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Let's Prance
Inks: Ranger distress, blueprint sketch, wilted violet
Die: Spellbinders, classic squares large
Sequins from my stash

Well I'm guessing most of you are well ready to start making Christmas cards for your stash right now, so this challenge will be just perfct. Two birds with one stone - Christmas and glorious watercolours. If you haven't already do go check out the rest of the HLS DT cards - here.

So pleased to have your company for a while today, thanks for your time. And keep crafting!

CAS Colours & Sketches #198

Patricia is the November hostess at CAS Colours & Sketches and she kicks off the month with a trio of seasonal colours.

http://cascoloursandsketches.blogspot.com/2016/11/challenge-198-colours.html

And I was thinking they were also good for a Christmas themed card, so that's what I made!

I stamped the holly panel inalways artichike and then coloured in the berries with a pumpkin pie stamp n' write pen. The sentiment was stamped using early espresso.

I had a bit of luck in having some pearl card in a good match for the pumpkin pie and used it as a mat along two sides.

Supplies:
Stamps: Inkylicious, Holly Panel; Uniko, All Occasion Sentiments #4
Inks: SU, pumpkin pie, early espresso; Ranger distress, bundled sage

Have you already seen the CC&S blog - here? Fabulous DT cards to inspire you to play along aren't they?

I'm popping this card into the current challenge at Less is More where they are celebrating 300 challenges - what an achievement!
