Thursday Thoughts

Today I want to share something a little different.  For Christmas I was given this beautiful book and rag doll kit - someone knows me well!

I've had such fun this last week making her up and dressing her.  Here I am at the very beginning cutting out the fabric.

Here she is all cut out and waiting to be sewn together.

Adding the stuffing to an arm.  Couldn't quite believe how a big bag of stuffing could be used up on such a small doll!

All finished and ready to be dressed.

A quick search through my fabric stash and I found some suitable left over pieces to make a blouse and pinafore for her.  All the patterns for her clothes - there are several other outfits - and the instructions are in the book. So here she is all ready to play.

Thanks for dropping by today.

    1. At the moment just me, but maybe one day I'll get a granddaughter to pass her on to. My grandsons have named her Rosie.
