So for my first card I stamped straight onto the card to create a one layer card. This is something I find quite scary, but have been doing a lot more often recently especially if the card has to go in the post.
I based the layout on the challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches. When I was looking for their new challenge I spotted I'd made the top three with this card so I'm able to display their badge again. Thank you so much!!
So here's my card for their new challenge:
Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Good Times
Inks: Memento, grape jelly, rose bud, tuxedo black
Congrats on the top three placing!!
ReplyDeleteI love this card - it's a beautiful stamp set.

Love your take on the challenge x
ReplyDeleteCool interpretation of the sketch - love the coloring on the butterflies! Thanks for joining us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
ReplyDeleteHi Jane,
ReplyDeleteI've seen some of your cards on CAS challenges, I like your very clean style. I am starting a new CAS challenge blog on May 5th and I would like to extend to you an invitation to consider. I'm looking for a few clean card artists for my design team. It would be a weekly challenge and it's called "AAA Cards". The address is "aaacards.blogspot.com". Please drop by for a peek and visit my cards on victorialavender.net to see my nearly CAS work. If it turns out that you like the idea, please email me back and place into the DT Call post a link to your favorite card. It's an open call, but I already know that I'd like to see your work at this new challlenge. Most sweet artists that have applied so far, aren't exactly CAS (yea tho they be so kind and nice) So, please give it a little thought- I think you would be great at it.
Thanks so much, Victoria Lavender
Very pretty, very CAS and a clever take on the sketch. Thanks for joining us at CC&S
