Thursday Thoughts

Just a simple card to share today.

I wanted to enter the One Layer Simplicity challenge, but have to admit the theme - I've been framed - had me stumped for a while.  I don't have any frame stamps, but then I thought I would try using one of my dies to cut a frame and from there I got to using  a die to emboss a frame.

So here's my card:


Supplies:
Die: Spellbinders. Fleur de Lis squares
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Design a Tree
Inks: Memento, grape jelly, lilac posies, bamboo leaves
Embellishments: Mei Flowers gemas; Kuretake Wink of Stella
