Wednesday Words

Well as you probably already know scrapbooking is my first love and The Memory Nest my favourite place to find layouts and inspiration for pages. And as I just about always enter their challenges it seemed like a good idea to give their DT call a go.  So wish me luck and hope that this page I'm sharing does the trick!

I'm quite firmly in the CAS camp when making cards and my scrapbook pages tend to reflect this too.  I often shrink down elements from layouts to make them more my style. And that's exactly what I've done with this sketch - all the five layers are there, just in slightly different proportions.

One of the best things about having an older brother is that you get to try all sorts of things much younger and I always love watching how William watches Leo and then tries it out himself.

And quite unusual for me there is no handwritten journalling. I just felt the stamped quote said it all.

Supplies:
Papers: Craft Creations, gingham; AC, chap; scraps from my stash
Stamp: Inkylicious, Some Moments
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Dies: Spellbinders, sprightly sprockets; Die-namics, ampersand; Paper Smooches, cardbooking
Alphas: Cutlegug, hippy chick; October Aftrnoon, Mini Market grey & cream, cream & denim

Thanks so much for dropping by today, hope you'll pop over to The Memory Nest and leave some love.

  2. oh my, what a beautiful photo to scrap! This is definitely a memory captured. Good advice about shrinking down the elements for cards. Love your LO, the papers and colours are well represented to match those in the photo - clever!
