Tuesday Talk

I've had a bit of time today, so took advantage and made a card for the current Addicted to CAS challenge which has the code word HOME.

http://www.addictedtocas.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/challenge-82-home.html

Just before I went into my craftroom I'd been looking at facebook and spotted some wonderful creations using Lavinia stamps and thought to myself it's time I gave my Lavinia stash some love. I adore all the fairy home stamps but haven't got round to letting them jump into my online cart yet, but I do have the castle. So that's what I used.

I'd also been admiring the fabulous work of Eileen Godwin and watched a youtube video of how she uses stencils - and that inspired my inky background. I've never thought to actually move a stencil around and keep on adding ink and overlapping layers - neat result. I especially love how the colours look shining through the castle stamp.

To finish off this card I couldn't resist adding the creature who may just possibly call this castle home!

Supplies:
Stamps: Lavinia, large castle, small dragon; Uniko, sentiment from Home Sweet Home
Inks: Ranger distress, spun sugar, evergreen bough, scattered straw, shaded lilac, victorian velvet; Versafine, onyx black
Stencil: ARTplorations, bubbles
Die: Lil'inker, stitch mats rectangles

Thanks for dropping by my blog, you've made my day.

And keep crafting!
