Stuck?! Sketches Guest Designer

YAY! Here I am today joining Stuck?! Sketches as a Guest Designer.  How exciting is that? And more than exciting really as it's a scrapbook challenge and I am thrilled to be asked.

And here's the wonderful sketch that I've had the pleasure of using.

http://stucksketches.blogspot.co.uk/

And here's how I used it. Loving how easy it was to achieve an overall CAS look.

Well I knew these moments had to be scrapped and I can't begin to tell you the absolute joy looking at these photos brings to me. Scissors - never knew they could be the source of such enjoyment, concentration and sparkling eye pleasure.

I started my page by placing all the paper elements and photos, sticking them together and then removing them from the backing paper so that I could add some smudges of distress ink. That done the strips were stuck down and then the smaller embellishments were added.

I used cogs instead of flowers - thought I could see his brain cogs turning - and stamped some little heart clusters as he's definitely got my heart!

Supplies:
Papers: Lawn Fawn, Beachside 6x6;  scraps from my stash
IStamps: Uniko, hearts from Balloon Bash
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, faded jeans, spiced marmalade
Die: Spellbinders, Sprightly Sprockets
Embellishments: Simple Stories, enamel dots; sequins & twine from my stash

I'm so pleased you had time to visit my blog today and I really hope you'll join in with this challenge at Stuck?! Sketches. Do go check out how their DT have used this sketch - HERE.

And keep crafting!
