Uniko - Introducing Background Blocks Falling Snowflakes

Today is the third introduction to Uniko's October release and it's a stunner!

I can't begin to tell you how much I'm in love with this stamp set - it's so gorgeous!

I stamped and heat embossed the falling snowflakes onto heat resitant acetate and then sandwiched it between several layers of a white die cut frame. And this seemed to be begging to be made into a shaker, so I prepped a background using distress oxides, sprayed with a good coat of sparkle and added in some silver sequins.

The small sentiment was stamped onto a scrap of  card and added on top of the window and the larger sentiment was stamped directly onto the card base - both are from yesterday's introduction  Festive Sentiments.

Inks: Ranger distress oxide, salty ocean, wilted violet; Versamark + WOW! sparkling snow embossing powder; Memento, tuxedo black
Die: Lawn Fawn, stitched rectangle frames
Embellishments: Crafters Companion, Spray & Sparkle; sequins from my stash

My next card is a more simple version and once again uses heat embossing and distress oxides.This time I used clear embossing powder and blended ink all over to reveal the falling snowflakes.

Once all the stamping and inking was complete I die cut the panel and mounted it onto a rectangle of foam to make it pop a little more from the white matt and teal card base.

 And again I used sentiments from yesterday's Festive Sentiments set- see I said it would be a go to and you'd need it!
