AAA Cards Challenge #131 Sketch + Optional Twist Pastel Colours

Wow! One week of 2019 is almost over!  Time to shout out about the first New Year Challenge at AAA Cards then!

Here's the sketch:

I decided to keep everything nice and simple - well it has to be CAS with plenty of white space anyway - and just added three strips of washi tape and a die cut greeting. It was quite tricky to line up the washi strips and I used a ruler and my craft mat as an aid.

I die cut the greeting in black as a strong contrast to the pinky purples and used a vibrant pink card base. So no pastel colours for me then! And it looks like it's time to change the blade on my trimmer!

Supplies:
Die: Lawn Fawn, Happy Birthday border
Washi from my stash

The rest of the AAA Cards team have created amazing CAS cards to inspire you to play along, see them all HERE. We've the talented Maria from White Mood joining us as our Guest Designer and the beautiful Ishani is a very welcome new addition to the AAA Cards DT.

Huge thanks to you for visiting my blog today and I look forward to seeing you play along.

And keep crafting!
