Wednesday Words

Today I'm sharing a cute little tag I created to enter the TAGplorations Challenge.

I love Winter themed cards - it means I can use my favourite purples!

I started this tag by stamping and then masking off the cute little penguin. I then popped a post it note across the bottom just touching his feet and a circular stencil on top. I used two colours of distress ink to create the stormy Winter sky and then added some snow with a white gel pen.

I removed all the masks and coloured the penguin using Copics and added some sparkle using Stickles. I also added an appropriate sentiment under the penguin and a smaller tag with a greeting and a trio of sparkly enamel dots. I finished it all off with some sparkly ribbon and fibres.

Supplies:
Stamps: Winnie & Walter, Season's Tweetings
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress, stormy sky, wilted violet
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched traditional tags
Pens: Copic, W1, W3, B23, B12, V15, V17, YR04, C3, C5, C7; Sakura gelly roll, white
Embellishments: YNS Gumdrops, cosmic crush; Stickles, diamond; Ribbon & fibres from my stash

Thanks so much for looking today, I'm so pleased to have your company.

And keep crafting!
