Today it's a card for the final of the February challenges at STAMPlorations that I'm palying along with. And it's my favourite - CAS!
Well I have to confess I had to google cerulean blue and also studied the DT cards carefully. Seems it's that brilliant sunshiny sky blue that I love to see - mostly when on holiday in Portugal, but occasionally here in the UK too.
It was the first outing of my new Visible Image stamps and I love how these flowers look. I stamped them in a row and then masked off a strip and added the blue using two Copic pens. One of the few times when the wide chisel tip gets an airing.
I added the sentiment just above the coloured strip and called this card done.
Supplies:
Stamps: Visible Image, Random Act of Kindness
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, B28, B29
Embellishments: Blue gems from my stash
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, it's always more fun when you do.
And keep crafting!
Jane, it's so funny you should say about googling cerulean blue as I had to do exactly the same! Your card is gorgeous, I love the simple layout with the vibrant blue line. Thank you for playing along with the STAMPlorations CAS Challenge. We hope to see you back again soon! Karola, DT, InvisiblePinkCards
ReplyDeleteThat is such a gorgeous bold blue, Jane ... the sketchy outline blooms are fabulous against it! Anita :)
