STAMPlorations Digi Inspiration

I'm super happy to be here today with my first post as part of the STAMPlorations Digi Team.

STAMPlorations Digital Store

I'm showcasing the Coffee Blossoms Digital Stamps which are a set of 9 beautiful digis with all the magic of digi stamps - immediate download after purchase, no mailing charge, ease of resizing and ability to flip images.

Here's my first sample using Frame 1 from the set:

Yep it's a scrapbook page! I knew as soon as I saw these stamps that it would be a perfect match for this photo. So once I'd printed, coloured and hand cut the stamps I placed them plus the photo onto the background paper and marked their position lightly in pencil. I then used the ARTplorations Shutters stencil to add some interest and texture to the plain background paper.

I then paper pieced the coffee/tea cup. Here's how it looked at this stage:

Mmm the white frame was looking a bit stark, so I also paper pieced that. It's very easy to paper piece with digi stamps, you simply print the image onto the patterned paper and then hand cut it. Here's a closer look at that cup:

I then decided to balance the page by adding a cluster of the flowers at the top left hand corner. The main bunch was coloured using Copic pens and I added an extra paper pieced flower popped up onto pads for extra dimension.

The page was completed with a title and some enamel dots.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations Digital Store, Coffee Blossoms Frame 1
Stencil: ARTplorations, Shutters
Inks: Ranger distress, victorian velvet, brushed corduroy
Alpha: Simple Stories, So Fancy
Pens: Copic, R20, R37, R39, BOO, B01, E43, E44, E50, G94, YG63
Embellishments: MME, blue dots

My second share today is a much simpler and quicker make using some subtle pastel colours and the Coffee Blossoms 3 digital stamp and a butterfly from Fluttery Garden.

Before I printed the digi stamp I flipped it over as I wanted the handle to be on the right hand side of the card - one of the best things about digis is the ability to orientate images whichever way suits your project the best.

The image was simply coloured with some favourite shades, a sentient was added and the butterfly was hand cut and popped up onto a foam pad. A simple very me sort of card.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations Digital Store, Coffee Blossoms 3, Fluttery Garden A2 card front; STAMPlorations, sentiment from Buttercups & Butterflies
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Pens: Copic, W1, W3, W5, C1, C3, C5, BV000, BV04, BV11, BV13, YG63, E000

Shery has very generously included a chance to win a prize with the introductions to her new range of digital stamps - all you have to do is leave comments round the blogs of the new Digi DT and it could be you who wins a $15 gift code to be spent at either the main or digital store.  Find all the details and the mini hop participants on the STAMPlorations blog HERE.
