Wednesday Words

Today I've a scrapbook page to share. I've used the theme from a new challenge to me White With 1.  I discovered this challenge from a scrapbooking buddy Lizzy Hill's amazing blog.

So basically there are just two colours on my page - white and blue.  I tried to match the shade of blue as much as possible, always difficult with computer screens. And I really couldn't do anything about the orange flower in her hair!

I used a piece of the beautiful Vicki Boutin Mixed Media paper for the background - the colours seemed perfect! Then I added a lined scrap for my journalling and used an edge punch and a doily to soften the edges.

The journalling is a direct quote from the photo as it was sent to me on my phone after I had complained about a previous pic with her dress all scrunched up!

I added some punched butterflies, word stickers and enamel dots as embellishments.

Supplies:
Papers: Vicki Boutin, Mixed Media; scraps from my stash
Title: AC Thickers, Wild
Punch: Tonic, butterfly; Martha Stewart, heart
Stickers: Cocoa Vanilla, Happiness

I'm so pleased you had time to stop by my blog today, it's been fabulous having you visit.

And keep crafting!
