A crisp frosty morning here in the UK, so how about a bit of Summer fun to warm up the day?
Here's a scrapbook page I've made just for fun to give myself a break from Christmas crafting and no challenges and not for a challenge.
I don't get many opportunities to snap these three together, but they were so absorbed in playing with the stones they didn't even notice me photographing them. So no funny faces or deep sighs to contend with.
I used lots of warm sunny colours and added word/phrase stickers and enamel dots in a triangle to frame the photo.
Supplies:
Papers: Simple Stories, Sunshine & Blue skies, Sunshine & Happiness
Alphas: Simple Stories Sunshine & Happiness
Stickers: Simple Stories Sunshine & Happiness
Embellishments: Echo Park enamel dots, I'd rather be crafting
Thanks so much for looking today, I really appreciate you finding the time to visit my blog.

Black Friday with Funky Fossil
I'm back again today with news of another Black Friday shopping opportunity. Funky Fossil have a massive 20% off everything in store when you use the code SAVE20.
And that's not all! Funky Fossil have added a SALE section to the store and the 20% discount can be added to those already reduced prices.
So how about a little DT card to help you along with your choices? I've made a gift card for a friend that loves gardening and I'll be popping some gardening vouchers inside it for her Christmas gift.
I used kraft card stock to create a gift wallet and then decorated it with stamps from Plant A Garden and the brick wall stencil.
The greeting is one of my all time favourite quotes and I love the tiny stamps like the snail and butterfly that are part of this stamp set.
Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Plant A Garden
Inks: SU, soft suede; Ranger distress, brushed corduroy, crushed olive
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Brick Wall
Pencils: Prismacolor
So what are you waiting for? Get yourself over to Funky Fossil and grab yourself a bargain! Your tomorrow self will be so pleased if you do.
Thanks for looking and Happy Black Friday weekend shopping!
And as always keep crafting!

Thursday Thoughts
Today's share is a card I made for the Theme & Photo Challenge at STAMPlorations.
I used a stencil for all the background circles and inked through it with Stampin' Up Early Espresso. I then removed the stencil and applied a layer of Cosmic Shimmer mica powder. It really catches the light in real life.
Here's my card which picks up on the colours and circles from the photo.

My stamp element for this challenge is the greeting. I heat embossed it in white onto some brown card stock which matches the base card.
Supplies:
Stamps: sentiment from Funky Fossil, The Quick Brown Fox
Inks: Versamark clear + WOW! opaque white embossing powder; Cosmic Shimmer mica powder, sapphire ultra; SU, early espresso
I'm so pleased to have had you visit my blog today, enormous thanks.

Tuesday Talk
I've a bright and fun scrapbook page to share today using the inspiration picture from Scrap The Boys as my starting point.
I'm still playing catch up with those Summer holiday snaps and thought the bright colours and comic book splat of the picture suited this one perfectly.
I used Uniko's Explosion & Explosion Additions stamps and dies to create my splats and title word. I added these to the patterned paper layers along with some stickers and enamel dots to create three embellishment areas round the photo.
Here's a closer look at the largest area which fits down the far right of the page.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Explosion, Explosion Additions
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Papers: Echo Park, Celebrate Easter; Jillibean Soup, Neopolitan Bean Bisque; scraps from my stash
Dies: Uniko Explosion Collection
Stickers: Simple Stories, Sunshine & Happiness, Bliss, Crafty Girl, Say Cheese, So Rad
Embellishments: MME enamel dots, Cut & Paste
Huge thanks for you time today. I'm so pleased you came to visit my blog.

AAA Cards Facebook CAS Card Exchange
Today I'm sharing the card I created for the AAA Cards facebook November CAS Card Exchange. The theme is Cute Christmas.
Here's my card:
I chose the adorable sleeping donkey image from Clearly Besotted and added in the cute little mouse and star to the scene. I masked off all the images and then put a circular stencil over them to ink up a background scene.
The star was glistened up with Wink of Stella and I added some falling snow using a gelly roll pen.
Supplies:
Stamps: clearly Besotted, Little Donkey
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress, blueprint sketch, wilted violet, brushed corduroy
Colours: Prismacolor pencils; Sakura gellyroll, white
Have you joined in with an AAA Cards facebook event yet? Check out the details of this CAS Card Exchange HERE.

AAA Cards - #154 Made In Minutes + optional twist Blending
A new game has just started at AAA Cards and it's ideal for this busy time of year - Made in Minutes!
Here's my card:
I used the fabulous new stamp Background Blocks Scandinavian Christmas from Uniko our sponsor for this challenge. It's an ideal stamp for making quick cards and all I did was emboss it in white and then blend some inks over it.
I matted it in black, stamped a block greeting and used a Papermill Direct pale turquoise card base. I have to admit I think this card is a little short of white space - on this case pale turquoise white space - but there's still just about enough to meet the AAA Cards requirements.
Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Blocks Scandinavian Christmas, Simply Said Blocks Christmas
Inks: Versamark + WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder; Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress oxide, picked raspberry, mermaid lagoon, twisted citron, peacock feathers
Card: Papermilldirect, pale turquoise & black
The rest of the AAA Cards team have also made quick and easy cards to help get your creative juices flowing - HERE. We've also Bev from Uniko playing along and the amazing Angie from cimbacreativefun joining in as a Guest Designer. Their cards are so inspiring and a welcome break from Christmas. Do pop over and enjoy!

Funky Fossil Insta Hop
I'm super excited to be here today to tell you about the Funky Fossil Instagram Hop taking place right now!
There's a chance to win £15.00 to spend in store for one lucky random pick from all the comments left across the hop. What are you waiting for? Get yourself over to instagram - @funkyfossildesigns - and get hopping.
I created a couple of cards using the new release to showcase what you might be able to purchase if you're the winner.
My first card is a thank you card - and we all need them after Christmas. It uses Sew Lovely and the stencil Quilted Circles.
I used three colours of distress oxide inks with the stencil and them die cut this panel. the sewing machine was stamped, coloured with Copics and then hand cut. I matted it all onto some non shed glitter card from Papermill Direct and used a white card base.
Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Sew Lovely
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Quilted Circles
Inks: Ranger distress, milled lavender, cracked pistachio, brushed corduroy; Memento, tuxedo black
Dies: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles
Card: Papermilldirect, Flamingo pink glitter & super smooth white
Pens: Copic, YG03, E42, BG01
My second card is a Christmas card and uses two Funky Fossil stamps sets - Festive Penguins & Fa La La and the stencil Brick Wall.
I started by inking the brick wall and then I stamped the sentiment on top. I chose the penguin with the ear mufflers as I thought they might be headphones too and would link in nicely with the Fa La La. And he seems totally oblivious to that mistletoe hanging over his head - think he's in for a nice surprise then!
Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Festive Penguins, Fa La La
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Brick Wall
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress, milled lavender, cracked pistachio, brushed corduroy
Card: Papermilldirect, orchid sparkle, black plain
Pens: Copic, V01, BG01, YG03, C1, C3
Huge thanks for dropping by today. I really hope you'll join in with the instagram hop and maybe be the lucky winner. Good Luck!

Thursday Thoughts
I'm combining two challenges today - Happy Little Stampers Christmas and CAS on Friday.
So Bah Hum Bug and Use a frame were my starting points:
I thought the gnome was looking decidedly unimpressed by life and was perfect for the Bah Hum Bug element and I used an MFT polaroid die for the frame. And don't we all need to keep that sentiment in mind at some point over the Christmas period?
Supplies:
Stamps: Stamping Bella, The Gnimes
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, polaroid shaker frame
Pens: Copic, BG10, BG11, BG53, E0000, E00, E21
It's been fabulous to have you visit my blog today, thanks so much!
