I'm super excited to be here today to tell you about the Funky Fossil Instagram Hop taking place right now!
There's a chance to win £15.00 to spend in store for one lucky random pick from all the comments left across the hop. What are you waiting for? Get yourself over to instagram - @funkyfossildesigns - and get hopping.
I created a couple of cards using the new release to showcase what you might be able to purchase if you're the winner.
My first card is a thank you card - and we all need them after Christmas. It uses Sew Lovely and the stencil Quilted Circles.
I used three colours of distress oxide inks with the stencil and them die cut this panel. the sewing machine was stamped, coloured with Copics and then hand cut. I matted it all onto some non shed glitter card from Papermill Direct and used a white card base.
Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Sew Lovely
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Quilted Circles
Inks: Ranger distress, milled lavender, cracked pistachio, brushed corduroy; Memento, tuxedo black
Dies: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles
Card: Papermilldirect, Flamingo pink glitter & super smooth white
Pens: Copic, YG03, E42, BG01
My second card is a Christmas card and uses two Funky Fossil stamps sets - Festive Penguins & Fa La La and the stencil Brick Wall.
I started by inking the brick wall and then I stamped the sentiment on top. I chose the penguin with the ear mufflers as I thought they might be headphones too and would link in nicely with the Fa La La. And he seems totally oblivious to that mistletoe hanging over his head - think he's in for a nice surprise then!
Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Festive Penguins, Fa La La
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Brick Wall
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress, milled lavender, cracked pistachio, brushed corduroy
Card: Papermilldirect, orchid sparkle, black plain
Pens: Copic, V01, BG01, YG03, C1, C3
Huge thanks for dropping by today. I really hope you'll join in with the instagram hop and maybe be the lucky winner. Good Luck!
And keep crafting!
