AAA Cards Game 7

Welcome to my blog.  Today it's all about the new game over at AAA Cards - such a brilliant inspiration to CREATE this week.

http://www.aaacards.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/creative-embossing-aaa-cards-game-7.html

Loving those images and especially the pink and green colour combo - now why didn't I think of that? (Well maybe I did, kind of.)

My card uses a favourite embossing folder to create the pink background after using a die to cut the stitched rectangle.

I stamped this pretty orange blossom flower using versamark and then heat embossed it using black embossing powder. I coloured the flower centres and leaves using some old watercolour pencils I found in my desk drawer and added a Wink of Stella to the stamens.  Lastly I die cut the label and stamped the sentiment, added a button and some twine and my card was done.

Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted, Fresh Flowers
Ink: Versamark + black embossing powder
Die: Lil'inker, stitched mats reactangles; Clearly Besotted, Tag Along
Embossing: Xcut, quilting
Embellishments: Kuretake, Wink of Stella clear; twine & button from my stash

Hope you'll feel inspired to join in and create!  I had a blast last week visiting all your blogs and leaving comments - it was such a difficult week to choose a winner, you are all just too good! As always there's another great prize up for grabs.

Thanks for looking today, hope you'll return again soon.
