Polkadoodles Anything Goes Craft & Card Making Challenge

Time for another Friday Challenge at Polkadoodles. As always it's Anything Goes.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Christmas with a sentiment like from me to you.

I selected the sentiment from Christmas Fishes and one of the cute gnome images from the same set. The image was stamped onto a circle die cut with the Posydoodles basic circles die set and then coloured with Copic pens.

I die cut a piece of patterned paper from the Christmas Blessings paper pad using the Squarey Swirly Hearts die and matched the Copic reds as closely to the paper as I could.

The sentiment, also from Christmas Fishes, was stamped onto a die cut tag from the Posydoodles tags die.

Supplies:
Stamps: Polkadoodles, Christmas Fishes
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Dies: Polkadoodles, Squarey Swirly Hearts, Tags, Circles
Paper: Polkadoodles, Christmas Blessings
Pens: Copic, W0, W1, W3, W5, G05, G17, G28, G40, BG0000, BG13, BG15, BG32, E00, E57, E59, R20, R39, R59; Sakura white gel pen;
Embellishments: Stickles, star dust

Thanks so much for dropping by today. I'll hope you'll find time to join in with this week's Polkadoodles Challenge - HERE. Remember it's always Anything Goes and there are prizes to be won so you've got nothing to lose by playing along.

Polkadoodles Too Cute Christmas Fishes

Hey! Today I'm sharing a tall slimline card I created using the awesome new Too Cute Christmas Fishes digi stamps from Polkadoodles.

As soon as I saw the fish tank that is included in this digi set I knew I wanted to turn it upside down to be a balloon - I have a bit of a thing for balloons on cards! So I place three above the mermaid and added strings with a fine liner black pen after I had printed it out.

I added some sea weedy colour at the bottom of the card to ground the mermaid using the Magical Grasses stencil.

After I had coloured the balloons I used a colourless blender pen to create a mottled effect. I finished it all off with some extra bubbles using clear gems and matted it onto red and then aqua card stock.

Supplies:
Ink: Ranger distress, tumbled glass
Pens: Copic, BG10, BG11, BG23, BG34, E000, E00, R39, R59, RV000, RV00, B0000, CO, colourless blender
Other: Pretty Pink Posh, clear gems

Huge thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate it.

Uniko Christmas Party

I'm so pleased to have you stop by today as I'm joining in with Uniko's 2020 Christmas Party.

Everyone LOVES a party, right?

This is a crafty party of course! Join in the party by sharing your Christmas cards, tags, projects or scrapbook pages using Uniko Clear Stamps, Stencils or Designer Dies. See the Party Rules on the Uniko blog - HERE.

And of course there are PRIZES!

First Prize £25 eGift Certificate
Second & Third Prize Winners Choice of £10 In-Stock Clear Stamp Set
Random Lucky Comment £5 In-Stock Clear Stamp Set

And I've created a trio of cards using the brand new Uniko stamp sets - Christmas Wishes & Framed Holly.

My first card uses the Framed Holly stamped off the top edge of the card. I masked off the bottom of the card to achieve this. I then coloured the holly leaves with a Copic pen and added some Stickles glitter and a scattering of small red gems. I chose the Holly Jolly sentiment - a perfect match for the Framed Holly.

Loving the dark green from the first card I reached for dark green card and heat embossed the Framed Holly in a sparkling snow white. I then randomly coloured some of the berries with a red Copic pen and added a sentiment matted onto a white card flag shape across the middle. So quick, so easy!

Continuing the red and dark green theme my last card just had to be CAS! I started by stamping the sentiment phrase in red ink and then heat embossed it with a clear holographic sparkle powder from WOW! I then added the holly leaves, coloured them in two shades of dark green and added a trio of red gems over the stamped berries. Finally I added the striped border using Background Builders Classics, staed in red and heat embossed to match the sentiment.

Thanks you so much for visiting my blog as part of the Uniko party. I really hope you'll join in the fun and play along and maybe even win one of the super generous prizes Bev is offering.

Happy Christmas! Remember 'Tis the Season to be Jolly Careful, so stay safe and keep crafting!

Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Release - Bella Bear Skating

Are you ready for another card using the wonderful new  Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Digi Release? It's Bella Bear again, this time having fun ice skating.

I started by creating a wintery sky background using two colours of distress ink and the stencil Heavenly Circles. I then die cut a snowy hill.

I coloured Bella up using Copic pens in a really deep burgundy red and chose a matching shade to the sky for her jacket.

The sentiment is from the Gnome-azing stamp set. Love that curly font contrasted with the simple capital letters!

I've fallen in love with this mega cute little bear. Yes I know I said the elephants were my favourite, but that was yesterday and now I've been smitten by Bella! Anyway you can see them all and loads more DT inspiration over at Polkadoodles - HERE.

Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Release - Eli Elephant Clearing Leaves

Today I'm sharing another of my DT cards created with the Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Digi Release. It's back to my favourite elephant again - Eli Elephant Clearing Leaves.

I think it would be possible to turn this image into a Christmas card using Christmassy colours, but I decided to take a break from Christmas and stayed with the autumnal colours we're still experiencing here in the UK. I used Copic pens.

The background paper is a digi from Skater Dude and the pretty die cut is Squary Swirly Hearts. I used holographic card and thought it added a lovely bit of sparkle.

I used a sentiment from the stamp set Pick Of The Patch as it seemed to match perfectly with the fallen leaves.

I'm wondering which images are your favourites? I'm a bit in love  - well more than a bit - with the elephants myself. You can see them all and loads more DT inspiration over at Polkadoodles - HERE.

Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Release - Bella Bear Lots of Parcels

Today I'm sharing another of my DT cards created with the Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Digi Release. It's Bella Bear again, this time with Lots of Parcels.

As Bella is out and about I created a snowy scene using the clouds paper from All About The Dudes and die cut a stitched hill. I grounded Bella using a Posydoodles tag coloured to match her scarf and printed an extra image and cut it out to add another pile of presents at her feet.

The sentiment is from Christmas Fishes and was stamped onto a fishtail tag from Posydoodles.

Bella Bear is just so adorable and fabulous to colour up. Have you bought the digis yet? Well you can see them all and loads more DT inspiration over at Polkadoodles - HERE.
