The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Back To School.

The Student/School Little Dude is just perfect for a back to school card. I paired him up with one of the digi papers that's also included in this stamps set and coloured him using Copic pens.

The sentiment is from Everlasting Sentiments and I cut it into a banner using the Tags dies.

Time for another Friday Challenge at Polkadoodles. As always it's Anything Goes.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Shopping.

I've used the mega cute Agnes Elephant Hat Shopping digi for my card. I love how she's struggling to decide which hat to buy! Once I'd printed her out I cut the card into a square using the largest stitched die from the Posydoodles Basics Squares die set. I added a stencilled background to one half of the square using Distressed Trellis.

I then matted up a background matching Agnes colours and repeated the triangle stencilled look by cutting a square of the Lily Bug Love Paper Heaven 2 digi paper in half. The sentiment is from Winnie Sunshine Delights Sentiment Bundle.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Magical Fantasy with unicorns.

I think I've said before that I have a real soft spot for Ula and I adore her dressed up as a unicorn. So I naturally chose Ula Be A Unicorn for my card. Don't you just love her and that fabulous sentiment quote too?

I kept everything pretty simple and just coloured her up in pinks and purples, added some sparkle with sequins and Wink of Stella and called it done.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Cute Critters with a moving part.

I chose Seesaw Friends Horace & Boo as I knew I could make the seesaw move by adding a split pin. As I didn't want the seesaw base to move I cut the base and adhered it to the card before attaching the split pin.

I used a paper from Timeless Rose and cut it with the largest of the Ovals dies. I then added some die cut flowers using Flower Flourish. The sentiment is from Everlasting Sentiments - a really useful set as there are multiple combinations that can be made.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is All Girly with bright contrasting colours.

I have a real soft spot for Ula in all her variations and this time I chose Ula Sparkle. I knew I wanted to use pink as a colour and selected a paper from the Timeless Rose pad. I then settled on green for my contrast colour.

Once Ula was printed and coloured up I cut her using the largest ovals die. The sentiment which comes with this digi set was die cut into a tag. I then matted it all up and added some flowers using Flower Flourish dies and leaves using Super Sprigs dies. The heart die is from Squarey Swirly Hearts.

I decided to use the Slurpy Ice Cream Horace & Boo digi stamp and erased the cat before printing it out. I then cut it into a stitched rectangle using the largest from the Rectangle die set.

I matted it all up using papers from All About The Dudes and stamped a greeting from Everlasting Sentiments which I then die cut using the Tags set. the whole thing was matted onto a toning aqua card base.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Summer Sunshine with an interactive element.

As this card is to be interactive I chose the gorgeous digi stamp Too Cute Agnes Elephant Scooter and created a slider card. I printed Agnes twice as I wanted to pop up the top flower on her hat onto foam pads for dimension.  I built up the background using the cloud stencil from Winter Layering and added some die cut leaves from Super Sprigs.

I also stamped and hand cut the sun from Wishing Well Wishes and some flowers from Having A Giraffe clear stamp sets. the sentiment is from Everlasting Sentiments clear stamp set. Once the slider element was complete I matted it onto a sheet of digi paper from Dragon Onesie Little Dude.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Animals and include a flap.

I've used the clear stamp set Having A Giraffe, which is an absolute beauty and contains lots of lovely little accent stamps as well as the two main giraffe images. It also has the perfect sentiment for a flap!

I printed out the giraffe pattern paper from Sticks & Bones Textured Animal Print Papers and created a tall slimline card.

Polkadoodles Anything Goes Craft & Card Making Challenge

Time for another Friday Challenge at Polkadoodles. As always it's Anything Goes.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Butterflies.

I've used Holly Butterfly for my card and she's absolutely gorgeous! I coloured her up using pastel shades and then die cut her using the Ovals die.  The greeting is from Everlasting Sentiments.

Next I created a background paper using distress inks and the Pretty Butterfly stencil. I also inked through a couple of extra butterflies from the stencil and hand cut them. These I glammed up with iridescent gems and added to the side of the oval die cut.

Polkadoodles Anything Goes Craft & Card Making Challenge

Time for another Friday Challenge at Polkadoodles. As always it's Anything Goes.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is CAS with ribbon or twine.  Right up my street then!

For my CAS card I chose the adorable Toad-ally Cute Little Dude digi stamp. I printed him to one side of the card - a favourite design layout for me when creating CAS cards.  I also added in the the toad-ally awesome sentiment before printing.

I added a strip of paper from the All About The Dudes paper pad and then tied some twine along the width of the card. I coloured him up in tones of grey to match the paper strip. I added in a little pop of green for the toad and some white gel pen highlights on his boots and hair.

Polkadoodles Anything Goes Craft & Card Making Challenge

Time for another Friday Challenge at Polkadoodles. As always it's Anything Goes.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is New Beginnings and a shaped card.

I chose the Wedding Car digi and created a shaped card by printing to one side of a piece of card and then cutting round the image on the sides and top. I left the bottom of the card flat for stability.

This was the easiest of cards to make as all I needed to do was colour the image using Copic pens and then add a little dimension by popping the bows up on foam pads. And you have to have a bit of bling on your wedding day, so I decorated her hair and tiara with gems.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Easter in tones of one colour.

I plumped for shades of aqua blue and matted up a card base using the Park Life stencil and Oval dies. I thought some of the shapes in the stencil were a little like Easter egg wrapping paper patterns.

I printed out the Holly Easter Bunny digi and coloured her in the same colours. I hand cut round her and popped her up onto foam pads for added dimension.

The sentiment was created on my computer and then cut using the Tags die.

The theme the DT were asked to use for this week is Easter.

I decided to create a twisted easel card and used papers from Scrumptious Sugar to decorate and set the colours.

I then coloured up the adorable Holly Easter Bunny to match and matted her onto layers of card and paper using the Posydoodles oval dies.

Next I die cut some filigree flowers using the medium and small dies from Flower Flourish and papers from Scrumptious Sugar, Bright & Beautiful and All About The Dudes. I added an enamel dot to the centre of each and used one of them as the easel stopper.
