Wednesday Words

Another card for my Christmas stash is made thanks to the challenge at Christmas Kickstart.

And I knew exactly which stamps I wanted to use ......

..... the mega cute Sleigh the Season stamp from Polkadoodles. So once that was printed and coloured up I set about making a starry, snowy night background. I used a white Sakura gelly roll pen on dark blue card for the sky and then cut a snowy hill using a T4TD Landscape Edges die.

The sentiment is from the same Polkadoodles stamp set.

Supplies:
Stamps: Polkadoodles, Sleigh The Season
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: T4TD, Landscape Edges
Pens: Copic, R02, R11, R27, R29, R39, E37, E43, E44, N1, N7, N9, C0, C1, B00, B02, YR27; Sakura gelly roll

Saturday Spot

Hi!

Today I'm joining in with the challenge at {PIN}spirational.

Since Easter is now over I went with the pinks, the lacy frill and flowers as my starting point.

I found the two papers lurking in my stash and long overdue to be used and they dictated my colours. I dies cut the lacy border and layered up my card front.

The image is a Polkadoodles digi - Twinkle Tulips, now discontinued. Isn't she just the prettiest? I so enjoyed colouring her with my Copic pens.

Supplies:
Stamps: Polkadoodles digi, Twinkle Tulips; sentiment from Uniko, Floral Vines
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Dies: Spellbinders, petite ovals large, petite scalloped ovals large; Lawn Fawn, Lacy Border
Pens: Copic, E000, E00, E51, E53, Y04, Y11, R20, YG63, V00, V01, V12, RV52, RV55, RV63, RV66

Wednesday Words

Today I'm sharing the card I created for the challenge at CAS Christmas.

I decided to use a very cute digi from Polkadoodles - Snowdrift Friends.

How cute is this pile up? I have to own up to chopping off a robin that sits on top of the cat - wasn't sure if it would meet the challenge theme with a bird in the mix too. So that's why the image is cut out and then adhered to the card front.

The sentiment is from a MFT stamp set and seemed to match perfectly. As you can see Christmas glitter was used, but not showing so well is the black glaze pen I added to the eyes and nose.

Supplies:
Stamps: Polkadoodles digi, Snowdrift Friends; MFT, Happy Pawlidays
Pens: Copic, N1, N3, N7, BG0000, E42, E43, E44, G17, G28, R29, R39, R59, R81; Sakura gelly roll glaze black
Embellishments: Stickles, Star Dust

Thanks so much for your time today, I'm delighted you found my blog.

Saturday Slot

Today I'm playing along with The Cutie Pie Challenge - just squeezing in before it closes.

The theme is The Boys Are Back In Town and I chose this mega cute science dude a digi image from Polkadoodles. I'm thinking maybe he could have been one of the magnificent scientists working on the Covid vaccine.

I coloured him up using Copic pens and then framed and matted him in some bright happy colours. I chose the sentiment as it just seemed to fit the bubbling potions.

Supplies:
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Paper & Card: Sunny Studio, Preppy Prints; Papermill Direct, emerald green, super smooth white
Dies: Lawn Fawn, stitched rectangle frames
Pens: Copic, E000, E00, E43, E44, E47, R20, R39, R59, YR68, Y35, BG15, G05, BV05, C0, C1, C3, C5, C7; Sakura white gelly roll

Polkadoodles Too Cute Christmas Fishes

Hey! Today I'm sharing a tall slimline card I created using the awesome new Too Cute Christmas Fishes digi stamps from Polkadoodles.

As soon as I saw the fish tank that is included in this digi set I knew I wanted to turn it upside down to be a balloon - I have a bit of a thing for balloons on cards! So I place three above the mermaid and added strings with a fine liner black pen after I had printed it out.

I added some sea weedy colour at the bottom of the card to ground the mermaid using the Magical Grasses stencil.

After I had coloured the balloons I used a colourless blender pen to create a mottled effect. I finished it all off with some extra bubbles using clear gems and matted it onto red and then aqua card stock.

Supplies:
Ink: Ranger distress, tumbled glass
Pens: Copic, BG10, BG11, BG23, BG34, E000, E00, R39, R59, RV000, RV00, B0000, CO, colourless blender
Other: Pretty Pink Posh, clear gems

Huge thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate it.

Polkadoodles Too Cute Christmas Fishes

Hey! Today I'm sharing a card I created using the awesome new Too Cute Christmas Fishes digi stamps from Polkadoodles.

I printed the image a second time onto paper to so that I could cut out masks for each of the images. I then used the Heavenly Circles stencil to create some bubbles above the whale and the Winter Layering cloud stencil turned upside down to create some waves under the whale.

I printed a wavy line paper using a digi from Winnie White Christmas Papers 3 and die cut each layer using stitched circles. And of course I added some obligatory Christmas sparkle with Stickles glue.

Supplies:
Inks: Ranger distress, speckled egg, tumbled glass
Stencils: Polkadoodles, Heavenly Circles, Winter Layering
Pens: Copic, C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, RV00, BG72, B000, R39, R59

Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Release - Bella Bear Skating

Are you ready for another card using the wonderful new  Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Digi Release? It's Bella Bear again, this time having fun ice skating.

I started by creating a wintery sky background using two colours of distress ink and the stencil Heavenly Circles. I then die cut a snowy hill.

I coloured Bella up using Copic pens in a really deep burgundy red and chose a matching shade to the sky for her jacket.

The sentiment is from the Gnome-azing stamp set. Love that curly font contrasted with the simple capital letters!

I've fallen in love with this mega cute little bear. Yes I know I said the elephants were my favourite, but that was yesterday and now I've been smitten by Bella! Anyway you can see them all and loads more DT inspiration over at Polkadoodles - HERE.

Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Release - Eli Elephant Clearing Leaves

Today I'm sharing another of my DT cards created with the Polkadoodles Christmas Holiday Too Cute Digi Release. It's back to my favourite elephant again - Eli Elephant Clearing Leaves.

I think it would be possible to turn this image into a Christmas card using Christmassy colours, but I decided to take a break from Christmas and stayed with the autumnal colours we're still experiencing here in the UK. I used Copic pens.

The background paper is a digi from Skater Dude and the pretty die cut is Squary Swirly Hearts. I used holographic card and thought it added a lovely bit of sparkle.

I used a sentiment from the stamp set Pick Of The Patch as it seemed to match perfectly with the fallen leaves.

I'm wondering which images are your favourites? I'm a bit in love  - well more than a bit - with the elephants myself. You can see them all and loads more DT inspiration over at Polkadoodles - HERE.

Thanks so much for looking. Stay safe and keep crafting!
