Thursday Thoughts

It's another card for my Christmas stash that I'm sharing today. It's going into the Christmas Kickstart Challenge.

Here's my card:

I used the delightful Winnie North Pole Hang On digi from Polkadoodles and created a z-fold card.

The papers are from Polkadoodles Wintertime pack and I used them to colour match my colouring of the digi image.

And of course there had to be some sparkle!

Supplies:
Stamps: Polkadoodles digi, Winnie North Pole Hang On
Paper: Polkadoodles, Wintertime
Dies: Polkadoodles, squares
Pens: Copic, C0, C7, Y15, Y19, BG23, BG34, G02, E00, E31, E33, E42, E43, R20, R27, R29, R59, YR01, YR68; Sakura white glaze

Wednesday Words

Another card for my Christmas stash is made thanks to the challenge at Christmas Kickstart.

And I knew exactly which stamps I wanted to use ......

..... the mega cute Sleigh the Season stamp from Polkadoodles. So once that was printed and coloured up I set about making a starry, snowy night background. I used a white Sakura gelly roll pen on dark blue card for the sky and then cut a snowy hill using a T4TD Landscape Edges die.

The sentiment is from the same Polkadoodles stamp set.

Supplies:
Stamps: Polkadoodles, Sleigh The Season
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Die: T4TD, Landscape Edges
Pens: Copic, R02, R11, R27, R29, R39, E37, E43, E44, N1, N7, N9, C0, C1, B00, B02, YR27; Sakura gelly roll

Monday Moment

Today I'm sharing a card I created for the challenge at Christmas Kickstart.

Well my thoughts went straight to holly.

So I chose the delightful Uniko Framed Holly stamp set and stamped it in dark green. Thought I might as well embrace the green from the start!

Then I indulged in a whole fest of green colouring using five different greens from my Copic pen collection. I added a little detail to each leaf on top using a Miya oil pencil.

I finished off with some red for the berries and a green stamped sentiment from Christmas Wishes.

Supplies:
Ink: SU, tranquil tide
Colours: Copic, G28, G85, G99, YG63, YG67, R39; Miya oil pencils

Thank you so much for dropping by today, it gives me big smiles to know I've shared some of your time.

Monday Moment

Today I'm sharing a card I created with two challenges in mind - Christmas Kickstart and CAS Christmas. Never too early to start a Christmas card stash!

I decided to use mainly stencils for my card:

I started by inking the base of the Snow Globe with stormy sky distress oxide. Then I placed the main section of the snow globe and used three colours of distress oxide. I flicked over this with water to create a bit of a snowstorm.

Once the water had dried I inked through the smaller deer from the Steampunk Reindeer stencil using black ink - loving how dainty and different the deer is. I finished it all off with a stamped greeting and matted it onto a 6" square base card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Festive Phrases
Stencils: Funky Fossil, Steampunk Reindeer, Snow Globe
Inks: Ranger distress oxide, stormy sky, tumbled glass, shaded lilac, spun sugar; Versafine Clair, nocturne

Delighted to have you visit my blog today, thanks so much.

Wednesday Words

It's a pink Christmas at Christmas Kickstart and I've given it a go!

Here's my card:

I started by inky up a pink sky using two shades of pink and then stamped the fairy/angel and stars. I also added some white gel pen snow.

Next I die cut a snowy bank and stamped and hand cut the polar bear. He was popped up onto foam pads and placed looking up into the sky. I finally added a sentiment - and I think he is wondering if he can believe what he is seeing!

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Festive Phrases, Christmas Characters
Inks: Memento, rose bud, angel pink, tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched basic edges
Pens: Copic, C00, C1, RV52, RV55, RV63; Sakura white gel pen

Thanks so much for looking today, it's been so much fun to have you visit my blog.

Thursday Thoughts

Today I'm sharing a card I created for the Festive Sweet Treats Challenge at Christmas Kickstart.

Here's my card:

I used a Polkadoodles digi - Baked With Love - gingerbread lady who is also holding extra sweet treats. I coloured her up using traditional reds and greens and die cut the white card into a double stitched rectangle before adhering to a red card base.

The sentiment was added before printing the digi image and is my own.

Supplies:
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangles
Pens: Copic, E42, E43, E44, R27, R29, G05, G17

Huge thanks for stopping by today, I really appreciate it.

Thursday Thoughts

There's something very appealing about an all white card and Christmas seems to match this theme perfectly. So today's share is for the White on White Christmas Kickstart Challenge.

And here's my take:

Well I knew it was going to be die cut heavy and I started out with the scalloped frame from Time For Tea Designs. I then die cut a stitched hill from the the piece of card from the aperture and placed it back inside the frame.

The tree and sentiment are also die cuts and the snowflakes are a punch. I added some white pearls to the centre of each snowflake and also for the dot on the i in Christmas.

Supplies:
Dies: T4TD, Smile Sentiment & Scalloped Frames, Landscape Edges; HLS, tree; Clearly Besotted, Christmas
Punch: Xcut, snowflake
Pearls from my stash

Thanks for you time today, I really appreciate you stopping by my blog.

Today I'm sharing a Christmas card I made using the Furbabies theme at Christmas Kickstart.

I used a mega cute Craftyscrappers stamp and sentiment.

I have the digi version of this stamp set so I was able to size the deer to fit my card.  Apart from printing and colouring there wasn't really anything more to do! Love cards like this!

Supplies:
Pens: Copic, W1, E33, E35, E37, E50, E51, R20, R29, R39, Y18, YG01, YG09, BG01

Wednesday Words

Today I'm sharing a Christmas card I created for the Christmas Birds Challenge at Christmas Kickstart. Wow! I used the word Christmas three times in that sentence!

I was torn between going for cute or elegant. in the end the Uniko Peace On Earth white doves won out.

I started by stamping the doves onto a die cut rectangle from Polkadoodles and then added the sentiment from the same set between them. I matted the rectangle onto a beautiful Christmas paper from Funky Fossil's Let It Snow pad.

I finished off the card by using a white card base and adding a liberal coating of Wink of Stella to the doves.

Supplies:
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Die: Polkadoodles,  Posydoodles Rectangles

Thanks so much for looking today, it's been fabulous to have you visit.

Today I'm sharing a card I created for the Snow Is Falling challenge at Christmas Kickstart.

Here's my card:

I started by printing the LOTV digi Polar and then inked through the base of the Snowglobe stencil from Funky Fossil. I added a little shading to the bear with Copic pens. After that was done I placed the main snowglobe in place and inked through with three colours avoiding the bear.

Next I placed the Snow Storm stencil over and inked through in white. This is frustratingly not showing up at all well in my photos, but it looks very effective in real life. I finally added some small stamped snowflakes and a greeting from the new Funky Fossil Christmas Characters stamp set.

Supplies:
Stamps: LOTV, Polar digi; Funky Fossil, Christmas Characters
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black, London fog, summer sky, angel pink; SU, whisper white
Stencils: Funky Fossil, Snow Storm & Snow Globe
Pens: Copic, C00, C0, C1, C3

Today's share is a card I created for the Christmas Kickstart challenge.

Once again I'm running close to the deadline for a challenge. I've had a bit of an energy spurt after losing interest for a while. But I'm feeling it again now so here's my card:

I used the wreath from Funky Fossil's Joy stamp set and added some tiny red gems over the dots. Super simple, super quick, but with the gems probably not one for the mail.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Joy
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Colours: Derwent Inktense pncils
Red gems from my stash

Great to have you visit my blog today. Thanks so much for your time.
