Thursday Thoughts

Oh how exciting it is when a new challenge starts and when it's a CAS challenge too it makes my heart sing. So of course I'm playing along with Perfectly CAS, a brand new monthly challenge hosted by the extraordinarily hard working and talented Kylie.

Here's my card:

I printed this STAMPlorations digi Cupful of Blooms using just the bottom grouping of flowers from the stamp. I then used my Copic pens to colour it in. The triple set of pinks used for the largest flower is currently my new favourite combo - R81, R83 & R85

The birthday greeting is from Uniko and I cut the banner on a slant to match the edge of the flower cluster.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations digi, Cupful of Blooms; Uniko Simply Said Birthday
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Pens: Copic, YG01, YG13, YG63, V000, V01, V12, V15, V17, R81, R83, R85

Thanks so much for looking today, I always enjoy having your company for a while.

And keep crafting!

STAMPlorations Digi Inspiration

Hi!

I'm so pleased you stopped by my blog today as I have a couple of products to share using STAMPlorations digi stamps.

STAMPlorations Digital Store

This is the last of the features to showcase STAMPlorations digi products and so will be my last post as a member of Shery's digi team. A fun job completed is always a bit bittersweet and I'm proud to have been part of the STAMPlorations team, but sad that it's now all over.

Anyway here's my first share:

I'd spotted a display in a greeting card shop window where they'd layered up boxes and tied them together with ribbon and that inspired my project. I used the ARTplorations stencil Shutters to create a strip that could go under the ribbon tie.

I then used one of the bonus tags from the STAMPlorations digi Spring Coffee & Anemone. I coloured the flower in the same moody blues as the banding strip and tied it to the parcel stack with the same ribbon.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations digi, Spring Coffee & Anemone bonus tags printable
Stencil: ARTplorations, shutters
Inks: Ranger distress, black soot, chipped sapphire
Pens: Copic, BV23, BV25, BV29
Ribbon from my stash

My final share is a card using one of the digi coffee cups from Spring Coffee & Anemone which I printed onto water colour card. Because of the colours I intended to use I trimmed the image to remove the coffee cup handle and turn it into a framed floral instead.

I chose my favourite purple Arteza brush pens and coloured using a little water to mix and blend. The greeting is a CUTplorations die and I added the happy in pen.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations digi, Spring Coffee & Anemone
Pens: Arteza Brush, wisteria purple, eggplant purple, light magenta, ice blue, elephant grey
Die: CUTplorations, Birthday

Shery has once again very generously included a chance to win a prize with the introductions to her new range of digital stamps - all you have to do is leave comments round the blogs of the new Digi DT and it could be you who wins a $15 gift code to be spent at either the main or digital store.  Find all the details and the mini hop participants on the STAMPlorations blog HERE.

Thanks for visiting. And keep crafting!

STAMPlorations Digi Inspiration

I'm so pleased you've dropped by today as I'm showcasing some digital stamps from the STAMPlorations digi store.

STAMPlorations Digital Store

I've used the very beautiful and fabulously inspiring to colour Floral Coffee Cups To Go digi stamps to create a set of atc cards. I usually make atc cards as one offs or in sets of three, but I couldn't resist these stamps and made a full set of six.

Each card started off in the same way with a bronze pearlised card matted onto black and a horizontal stencilled strip using the ARTplorations Fairy Tale Forest stencil. I then spent some enjoyable hours  colouring the florals using my Copic pens. The colours are the same on each card and selected for their autumnal feel.

Each card also had a STAMPlorations clear washi sticker added and a trio of enamel dots.

I then went on to make a card and got a bit creative in Photoshop Elements. I colorised the coffee cups and shrunk them down to make a background sheet. I also colorised the large coffee cup before printing it out and adding more colour with my Prismacolor pencils.

I used the same card colours and stencilled a panel to echo the atc cards and finished it all off with a die cut Life is Good sentiment from CUTplorations and a trio of enamel dots.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations digi, Floral Coffee Cup To Go
Stencil: ARTplorations, Fairy Tale Forest
Die: CUTplorations, Life is Good
Inks: Ranger distress, brushed corduroy,; SU, chocolate chip
Pencils: Prismacolor
Pens: Copic, Y13, Y18, Y38, YR15, R14, R22, R29, R32, R59, RV69, E21, E23, E25, E37, W0, W3,
Embellishments: STAMPlorations, Clear stickers washi;  Echo Park, Good Day sunshine enamel dots; Carta Bella Summer Splash enamel dots

STAMPlorations Digi Inspiration

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Today I'm showcasing the STAMPlorations digital stamps set Cupful of Blooms. This is a set of six digis, three coffee cups with flowers and three floral card fronts.

My first share uses one of the card fronts printed onto kraft card stock and coloured with Prismacolor pencils. I love the look of white pencil on kraft card.

I matted it onto black to pick up on the colour of the frame and added a die cut greeting from CUTplorations.

Suppiles:
Stamps: STAMPlorations Digi,Cupful of  Blooms Cardfront1
Colours: Prismacolor pencils, black, white, process red, Spring green

For my second card I used one of the coffee cups with flowers and mostly paper pieced it. This is very easy to do with a digi. You simply print the whole digi onto different patterned papers as well as the card and then cut the individual parts out and stick them on top. The bonus is that you can create extra cards with all the left over bits if you wish.

I coloured the leaves with my Copic pens and also added in some shading on top of the paper pieced elements. The sentiment is from Fond Expressions 2.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPLorations Digi, Cupful of Blooms 2, Fond Expressions 2
Colours: Copic pens, C0, W1, W5, YG03, YG13, YG23
Papers: Frances Kitschy, Kirchen paper pad

Shery has very generously included a chance to win a prize with the introductions to her new range of digital stamps - all you have to do is leave comments round the blogs of the new Digi DT and it could be you who wins a $15 gift code to be spent at either the main or digital store.  Find all the details and the mini hop participants on the STAMPlorations blog HERE.

STAMPlorations Digi Inspiration

Hello!
I'm so pleased you've dropped by today as I'm showcasing some beautiful digi stamps from STAMPlorations

STAMPlorations Digital Store

Today I'm using the Springtime Blooms and Coffee stamps. This is a set of 3 top view spring blooms coffee cups, 3 floral curly frames and a bonus sheet of printable tags.

I'm starting with four of the printable tags which I have made into a little booklet to store memory photos.

Once I had printed them I coloured them using a soft palette of purples and yellows. I matted them onto black and purple card stock, punched a hole and tied them together with some ribbons.

The photos were adhered onto the back of each tag and I cut one extra purple tag using one of the others as a template and to add some journalling about them.

I used a couple of STAMPlorations sets to add sentiment to the tags - Fond Expressions 2 & Noteworthy

Well I couldn't resist using one more photo of my beautiful granddaughter for this showcase and created a scrapbook page with one of the top view Springtime Blooms & Coffee digis.

I printed out an extra copy of this digi and used one of the flowers to cover the coffee cup handle to convert it into a circular photo frame.

The title is a STAMPloration stamp - Say It Big Amazing. The page was completed with some enamel shapes and journalling.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations Digi, Springtime Blooms & Coffee Bonus Tags, Fond Expressions 2, Noteworthy, Springtime Blooms & Coffee 1, Say It Big Amazing
Inks: Versafine Calir, nocturne;
Pens: Copic, BV000, BV01,BV04, C0, C1, C3, G24, G40, G94, YG63, Y13, Y18, Y35, RV55, RV63, R81, B21, B23, B24
Papers: Vicki boutin Mixed Media
Stickers: Elle's Studio puffy hearts; Paperchase puffy hearts; Freckled Fawn puffy cameras; Tim Holtx Idea-ology Quotations
Embellishments: ribbons & fibres from my stash; Enamel dots from Echo Park & Carta Bella

STAMPlorations Digi Inspiration

I'm super excited to be here today with some more inspiration using STAMPlorations digi stamps.

STAMPlorations Digital Store

I'm using the Coffee and Roses set. This is a set of 10 which includes 4 coffee cup stamps, 3 oval frames and 3 rectangular frames as well as a bonus sheet of printable tags - such a bargain!

This oval frame digi is so beautiful that I simply coloured it using Copic pens in pale almost not there shades. I then added a little extra interest by cutting round the edge of the roses on the left hand side.

I added a sentient from Imagine and matted it all onto a pale lavender card base.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Rose Oval Frame Black Grunge Text In Frame, Imagine
Ink: Versafine Clair,nocturne
Pens: Copic, E000, BV000, YG63, C1, C3

My second card is a step away from my usual CAS style and I got busy with layering it all up!

I actually flipped the coffee cup image so that the handle is on the right as I thought it suited the design I had in mind better. The greeting is a CUTplorations die and I cut it several times for extra impact.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Coffee and Roses
Die: CUTplorations, Life is Good
Colours: Prisma Color, cream, light peach, peach, process red, pink, blush pink, lime peel, olive green, light umber, dark brown, white
Punch: ek border
Embellishments: lace & buttons from my stash; Glossy Accents

STAMPlorations Digi Inspiration

I'm super excited to be here today to share my DT Inspiration projects using the wonderful digital stamps from STAMPlorations.

STAMPlorations Digital Store

I'm showcasing the Spring Blooms & Mugs set. This is a set of 6 beautiful digis and a bonus sheet of printable tags with all the magic of digi stamps - immediate download after purchase, no mailing charge, ease of resizing and ability to flip images.

Here's my first sample using one of the bonus tags from the set:

I enjoyed colouring this image so much I went on and did a second so that I could chop it up to form a pocket.  I then stamped some positive motivational words using BOLD SENTIMENTS Journey and  BOLD SENTIMENTS Discover and cut them into little banners to pop into the pocket.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations Digi, Spring Blooms & Mugs Bonus Tags, BOLD SENTIMENTS - Discover, BOLD SENTIMENTS - Journey
Colours: Prisma Color, chartreuse, olive green, carmine red, pale vermillion, magenta
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne
Twine from my stash

My second share uses one of the floral rectangle frames from the set - there are two others to choose too!

I really like how the flowers fit around the bottom of frame and decided it would make a fabulous window for a shaker card. I added the wonderful sentiment Say It Big, Amazing above the window and coloured the flowers using Copic pens.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Spring Blooms Frame Sunflowers, Say It Big Amazing
Pens: Copic, RV17, RV55, RV63, R21, R22, R24
Ink: Versafone Clair, nocturne
Sequins from my stash

STAMPlorations Digi Inspiration

Hi!

I'm back today with some more Guest Design inspiration for using the new digi stamps at STAMPlorations

STAMPlorations Digital Store

I'm using Fluttery Garden A2 Card Fronts, which is a set of 6 digis plus a bonus colouring sheet.

For my first project I decided to decorate a planner page. I took the colours from the planner and hand cut a couple of clusters to fit at the top and bottom of my page.

I stamped some sentiments and other elements using STAMPlorations goodies onto my page before adhering the digi clusters.

Here's some close ups of the two clusters to show all the beautiful detail.

This Artsy Doodled Border stamp set is just perfect for dividing up the page and looks super combined with the digis.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations Digital Store, Fluttery Garden A2 card front 6; STAMPlorations, Artsy Doodled Borders, Subway Art builders Dare, Art Marks, Buttercups & Butterflies
Inks: SU, blushing bride, flirty flamingo, bermuda bay
Pens: Copic, G17, G28, BG32, BG34, C7, R14, R20, R21, R22, R37, R39

My second creation is a boldly coloured - well it is for me - card matted onto a black base card for even more of a dramatic effect.

I printed an extra copy and hand cut the butterfly and popped it up on a foam pad for extra dimension.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations Digital Store, Fluttery Garden A2 card front 4
Die: CUTplorations, gorgeous
Pens: Copic, R14, R22, R25, R29, R35, R37, R39, YR04, YR16, B01, B02, B04, B12, B14, B18, Y13, Y18, Y35, Y38, C1, C5, YG13, YG17, YG23

These digi stamps are such a joy to colour and a really relaxing way to while away a few hours. Remember Shery is offering a prize for one lucky winner who leaves a comment on all the Digi GD Team blogs - find all the details HERE.

Thanks so much for your time today, I'm so honoured that you spent some of it looking at my blog.
