Wednesday Words

I'm on a roll with entering challenges this week - yay! Today's card is for STAMPlorations theme and sketch challenge. The theme is stamps and CAS - right up my street then and the sketch is a classic.

I had such fun stamping and creating this card, hope you like it!

I started by masking off a portion of the base card and repeatedly stamping the script down the right hand side.  Next I turned the flower stamp upside down to get a block image without any markings and stamped it on top of the script.

One of my past year's one little words was my sentiment and I used the misti tool to get a good clear deep colour - magic! Finally I stamped and hand cut the butterfly onto vellum and added a gem .

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, Believe; Uniko, English Country Garden - Butterflies; Clearly Besotted, Design A Tree; Inkylicious, Elements 1
Inks: SU, crushed curry; Memento, tuxedo black; StazOn, jet black
Embellishments: Papermania, adhesive gem, Capsule Sunshine

This is so my favourite type of card and I'm already wondering how it would look in other colourways - maybe purple or pink?

Thanks so much for spending time looking at my blog today, so pleased you did.

And keep crafting!
