Here's my card:
I used Background Builders Triangulate to stamp the three lines of triangles across the card and then die cut a stitched circle. Love how the stamping looks a lot like washi tape.
I stamped the glorious smaller flowerhead from Beautiful Blooms I using a Kaleidacolor ink pad to get that lovely transition of colours from pink to purple. Then I used the matching Uniko die to cut out the flower and placed it inside the die cut circle. The sentiment was stamped on a piece of scrap card and placed slightly over the aperture.
Stamps: Uniko, Backgroud Builders Triangulat, Beautiful Blooms I, Simply Said Birthday
Ink: Kaleidacolor, Berry Blazr; Memento tuxedo black
Die: MFT Die-namics, inside/out stitched circles
Thanks so much for your time today, I really love that you spent some of it looking at my blog. And keep crafting!
This is stunning! I love the simplicity of the layout with the bold pop of colour on the flower. xxReplyDelete
WOW! The card is fab-u-lous but when you read that you stamped those three rows of triangles separately ... they look like they were one stamp - YAY!ReplyDelete
Beautiful card and fabulous CAS, Jane. I love your ombre flower, so pretty!ReplyDelete
This is gorgeous Jane! So clean and crisp, and I really thought the background stamping was washi until I read the post. Thanks so much for supporting our final birthday week challenge at Less is More :)ReplyDelete
Stunning, CAS and love that ombre stamping you've created on the flower head Jane. Such a clever take on the challenge and that BG does look like washi tape! Hmmmm! There's a thought! Thanks for playing along at Less is More this week. xReplyDelete
This is sensational Jane! That bloom looks gorgeous in the vibrant ombre colours and what a good idea to have it inside the die cut circle. Wow! Knocked out by that background builder stampset - it looks amazing - think you have enabled me! Thanks so much for joining us at Less is More xxReplyDelete
