Monday Moment

Is the sun shining where you are? If not may be this card will bring a bit of brightness to you.

It's going into the challenge at Addicted to CAS.

As well as being super bright it's also a really quick make. I simply die cut the sun ray using the T4TD cover plate die, chopped it in half to fit the corner and backed it with a scrap of yellow card.

The sentiment is from an old Pink & Main stamp set called Sunny Hello.

Supplies:
Stamps: Pink & Main, Sunny Hello
Ink: Versafine Clair, nocturne

Remember if you should wish to buy this die from T4TD you can use code T4TJANE10 to get 10% off.

Thanks for looking today, I really appreciate you taking the time.

Monday Moment

Today I'm sharing a card I created for the challenge at Addicted to CAS.

Here's my card:

I die cut a heart window from white card and popped raspberry pink card behind it as my card base. I then stamped and die cut the little ladybug from T4TD Fairy Garden and popped it up on foam pads above the sentiment.

This left me with the heart die cut from the window, so I created a second card. this time I stuck with the more traditional ladybug colours of red.

The greeting is also from T4TD Fairy Garden and the heart is die is part of the Slimline Scallops Cover Plate set. If you ever want to order any T4TD products you can us my code to get 10% off - T4TJANE10.

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Fairy Garden
Card: Papermill Direct, raspberry pink plain
Pens: Copic, N9, RV09

Huge thanks for looking today, i really appreciate you taking the time.

Friday Focus

Last day of the month and today I get my second Covid jab. Those eleven weeks since the first jab have flown past.

Today I'm sharing a card I created for the challenge at Addicted to CAS. The code word is SKY.

I fancied inking up a sunset type of sky and went in search of pictures to inspire and remind me of the colours. I found plenty with my favourite pinks and purples and created this card:

Once I'd applied some base colours to the top of my card I used the Funky Fossil stencil Watercolour Lines on top to create some extra interest. I loved the colours but wanted to make it obvious that this was a sky scene so I added one of the hot air balloons from the stencil Up & Away.

The simple sentiment is from Funky Fossil's Bird Song stamp set. I finish it all off using a black card base.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Bird Song
Stencils: Funky Fossil, Watercolour Lines, Up & Away
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress oxide, kitsch flamingo, picked raspberry, squeezed lemonade, spiced marmalade, wilted violet

It's been great to have you visit my blog today, thank you so much.

Thursday Thoughts

Today I'm playing along with the shapes Challenge at Addicted to CAS.

It was a no brainer to use one of the Uniko Background Builders sets. After all they have most shapes covered in this series. I plumped for the newest set Delightful Diamonds.

I  guess I have broken one of the ATCAS rules by not having just one focal point but since there is loads of empty white space I still think my card is CAS.

I chose really strong contrasting colours as I wanted my card to pop a punch even though it's so simple. The sentiment is from the new Floral Vines set - worth the purchase just for the beautifully simple and useful sentiments it includes, the floral image is an added bonus.

Supplies:
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; SU, rose red, lemon lime twist

It's been fab to have you stop by today, huge thanks for your time.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Wednesday Words

I'm playing along with another CAS challenge today. This time at Addicted To CAS where the code word is Animals.

I decided to make an encouragement card. It seemed so relevant as we begin to near the end of lockdown here in the UK.

I stamped the cute Up Up & Away hot air balloon image from Time For Tea Designs, coloured it up and die cut it.

I then added some subtle clouds using the Slimline Landscape stencil from Funky Fossil and stamped the greeting on top.

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, Up Up & Away
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress, tumbled glass
Stencil: Funky Fossil, Slimline Landscape
Die: T4TD, Up Up & Away
Pens: Copic, N1, R81, R83, Y35, Y38, B01, B02

Huge thanks for looking today, I really appreciate you taking the time.

Tuesday Talk

Today I'm playing along with the challenge at Addicted to CAS where thee code word is PATTERN.

And since it's February I decided to go with a love themed card.

I chose the Mid Century Modern block stamp from Uniko and stamped it off the edge to the right. The colour had to be red - right? I then used a left over stitched heart die to stamp the Always sentiment.

And yes I know this isn't a very lovey dovey Valentine's Day card, but it's definitely my style and I prefer the less is more approach!

In fact I was so taken by the clean look of this card that I went on to create two more using the same layout but for other occasions. All three cards are up on the Uniko blog.

Supplies:
Ink: SU, cherry cobbler
Die: T4TD, Slimline Scallops Cover Plate

Huge thanks for dropping by today, I really do appreciate you taking the time.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Tuesday Talk

Yay!
My first challenge entry for 2021!
It's for Addicted to CAS who are back after a bit of a break and also for going into the challenge at The Paper Players.

Couldn't be a more timely theme for me as we've been flirting with the odd bit of snow here in the UK.

I've used the cute little snowman from Funky Fossil's Christmas Characters and placed him in the bottom right corner - a bit of a favourite go-to card design for me. The falling snow and greeting are both from the same set.

Supplies:
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, R27, R37, R46, YR16, B0000, B00

Thanks so much for stopping by today, it's been fabulous to have your company.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

When I went looking for a birthday card the other day I discovered I was running low, so the code word at Addicted to CAS was very timely!

I also want to wish them a very happy 7th birthday - what an amazing milestone to have reached in this crazy craft challenge community!

Here's my card:

I chose one of the Chubby Unicorn stamps from Funky Fossil and coloured it up using Copic pens. I was looking for a more unusual colour combo so instead of my usual pink plus purple I went with pink plus orange.

Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Copic, YR04, YR16, R81, R83, R85, C00, C1; Sakura white gelly roll
