Uniko May Release - Introducing Simply Said Blocks II & Natures Treasures II Stencil

Today begins the first of the introductions to the Uniko May Release. You'll get to see a bit more about how each stamp set, stencil or designer die looks as you pop round the Uniko DT blogs.

Today's introduction is for a stencil and a stamp set.

                      

And on my first card I used both.

I started by die cutting the stitched square with the window aperture and placed it over my base card before using the Uniko Natures Treasure II stencil both under and on top of it.

I stamped the sentiment from Simply Said Blocks II inside the aperture. An elegant and CAS card for one of life's difficult times.

My next card couldn't be more different and is a riot of blazing rainbow colours.

A trio of black enamel dots and a small stack of stitched mats just finished this card off a treat. And I guess you spotted the purple base card!

For my last card I started with a bright green card base and the inked round the two mask leaf clusters includede with the stencil. Then I simply inked oxide colours through the Natures Treasures II stencil in a variety of blues and greens moving the stencil around as I changed colour.

I finished off with a greeting from Simply Said Blocks II on a fishtail banner and added another trio of black enamel dots.

Inks:Ranger Distress Oxide, wild honey, fossilized amber, salty ocean, cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, twisted citron; SU, real red, pumpkin pie, daffodil delight, cucmber crush, marina mist, rich razzleberry, sweet sugarplum
Dies: Lawn Fawn, large stitched square stackables; MFT, peekaboo circle window, double stitched rectangles, stitched fishtail flag
Embellishments: enamel dots from my stash

Welcome Back!

Today is the last of the sneak peeks! So far we have had 3 days of sneak peeks of new clear stamps and stencils. So what am I peeking today I hear you ask?!

Welcome Back!

So far we have had 2 days of sneak peeks and I am back today with a few more! Not only are we counting down to the May 2018 Release, it is also countdown to Happy Stampers Festival. Happy Little Stampers May CAS Challenge

It's time for a new CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers and the theme for this month is one of my favourites - one layer.

I've a bright and fierce card to share with you:

I started by stamping the lion centrally onto my card base. I then stamped it onto a sticky note, cut round it and placed it over the stamped lion. I put a sun ray stencil on top and added a layer of yellow rays. Next I lifted the stencil and rotated it and added the orange rays.

Supplies:
Stamps: HLS, Born To Be Wild
Inks: Memento, rich cocoa; Ranger distress oxide, fossilized amber, wild honey, candied apple
Stencil: Create a Smile, Focal Point

Welcome Back!

Yesterday saw the start of the countdown to May 2018 Release! It is also countdown to Happy Stampers Festival and May is Bev's birthday month, so she is going to be having a few giveaways around Social Media to celebrate!

Who doesn't love a silhouette and a floral one? Silhouettes have been around in the paper crafting and stamping world, probably from the get go! However, there seems to be a revival of this trend and I thought I'd put a little of my style out there too ;)

Tuesday Talk

This is my second post today, scroll on down if you're looking for the Uniko May Release Sneak Peeks.

 A quick share of a card I made to join in with the Just Us Girls Challenge.

Here's my card:

I masked off a strip down the right hand side and then stamped part of the grid. The flower was stamped and die cut on coloured card and I added an enamel dot to the flower centre.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko Flower Power #1 & #2; Kaisercraft, Grid
Inks: SU, old olive, tangerine tango; Versafine, onyx black
Dies: Uniko, Flower Power
Embellishments: enamel dot from my stash

Uniko May Release Sneak Peek 1

WhooHoo!

The long wait since the last Uniko release is over and the time has come to start the countdown to May 2018 Release! It is also countdown to Happy Stampers Festival and May is Bev's birthday month, so she is going to be having a few giveaways around Social Media to celebrate!

Those who attended the Uniko Stamping Retreat in December 2017 will recognise this Uniko Stencil peek! This month sees the official release of this stencil, which coordinates with a previously released Uniko clear stamp set?
