Focus 3

And lastly today a card. I used the colours from ColourQ (YAY! I was one of their courtiers here) and the layout from Freshly Made Sketches.

The colours are so vibrant together and just goes to prove how valuable these challenges are in making me try new ideas.

I stamped the background first, then stamped and coloured the flower onto a die cut tag. I was very influenced by Cindy Lovell's DT card which just jumped off the screen at me - so beautiful!

I was a bit stumped about how to achieve the banners at the bottom of the sketch and finally plumped for stamping a three part sentiment as everything else I tried just looked too heavy.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko Studio, Flower Power #3, Background Builders, Round In Circles
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black; Kaleidacolor, Caribbean sea
Promarker: pale pink, ruby, marsh green
Die: Lil'inker, Anytime Tags
Embellishments: doodlebug mini pearl, Spring asortment; ribbon from my stash

Thanks  for spending some time with me today. Oh and if you're quick there's still enough time to get your entry in at AAA Cards.
