And I went with a very sparkly, but quite elegant card. As always I tried to keep my card CAS, which is not only my personal style but also what the AAA team are looking for.
I originally wanted to stamp my image directly onto the dark blue pearlescent card and then heat emboss it to make it sparkle. Well that sort of worked, but only if the light was shining directly onto the card. So back to the drawing board and I stamped onto a white card panel which I matted onto that blue card.
I then coloured the baubles with pro markers and added sparkly dots using liquid pearls dusted with glamour dust. I combined sentiment stamps from two different sets and my card was done - and much more striking than my bin job!
Supplies:
Stamps: Inky Doodles, Hang In There; SU, endless Wishes; Uniko Studio, All Occasion Sentiments #4
Ink: SU, night of navy
Promarkers: blue pearl, cobalt blue, indigo blue, china blue
Embellishments: Liquid Pearls, white opal;Deco Art, glamour dust
