So I picked up on the Spring theme and the colours - green, pink and a little yellowy orange, but the water and bubbles were the first thing that made me reach for my frog photos. The bubbles reminded me so much of all the frog spawn.
I made a little stack of papers with a twine threaded button on top, which I repeated in varying sizes at three points on the page. Think I've probably mentioned before this is a favourite thing for me to create.
And my husband really lucked out with this photograph! He kept saying he couldn't see what he was snapping because of the sun on the screen, but he actually got the best shot of the day.
Supplies:
Papers: Bazzill Basics cardstock; October Afternoon, Cakewalk; Lilybee design, Kite Strings; AC, Daydream; scrpas from my stash
Alpha: AC thickers, subway
Dies: Avery Elle, pinked; Lawn Fawn, large stitched circle stackables
Punch: Martha Stewart, heart
Embellishments: hemp twine & buttons from my stash
Also today I'd like to share March's photos of three things that made me smile:
1. Beautiful flowers on Mother's Day
2. Those frogs again, coming out of hibernation - or whatever they do all Winter - to spawn noisily in my pond.
3. The chance to meet up with old work colleagues for a lovely lunch. Dreadful photo, but that's selfies on the phone for you. But it did make me laugh - grimace type of smile!
Thanks for coming to look at my blog today, I do appreciate your time. And keep crafting!
