I used this really beautiful corner die against a background of distress oxide inkyness. Love the dainty and delicate snowflakes, but I do find this die a bit tricky to get a clean cut, had to use my eBosser rather than my trusty Cuttlebug.
I then matted the whole thing onto some matching patterned paper that just happened to jump into my shopping basket when I'm not really allowed to buy any more paper - think I might have justified buying it though as I am using it!
The Christmas was also die cut from the same patterned paper. Yay for me two uses in one card!
Stamps: Uniko, Simply Said
Inks: Ranger istress oxide, wilted violet, cracked pistachio
Dies: Poppystamps, Crystal Snowflake corner frame; Clearly Besotted, Christmas
Ppaer: First Edition, Wild Flower
Thanks for your time today, I really appreciate your visit to my blog. And keep crafting!
Simply stunning! I love everything about this ... just fab!

Of course you have justified that paper jumping into your basket. Made for a stunning background. Love purple for Christmas and I love the snowflake die. Certainly looks beautiful and delicate. Love your layout Jane.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a gorgeous card. Love the colours xx
ReplyDeleteThis is sooooooo gorgeous Jane, and great justification for nuying that paper. I have the same rule for myself, and have broken it many times of course. Since you used it twice in one card, you are clear of any guilt!!! The die cut is gorgeous, and I can see how tedious it must have been to pop out all of the bits. I have a metal shim from PTI that really helps with that nervewracking job. Anyway. I love your card, the colors, the luscious inking... fabtastic!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous inked background, Jane! I love it!!! Happy to be part of HLS!!
ReplyDeleteHello Jane! I love your card. I love colors so beautifully combined. The white veil of snowflakes looks stunning on this background.
