Uniko October Release - Introducing BIG & BOLD: Merry & Background Builders: Christmas 2018

The last of the introductions to Uniko's October release today. And there's a bit of a Christmas vibe going on.

   

Just two projects to share today and I'm starting with a decorated Christmas gift bag.


I wasn't too sure how the inks would take to the paper bag or if I could squeeze it into my misti, but i decided to give it a go.  And the results are pretty good when compared to the gift tag which is regular card stock.


Supplies:
Stamps: Background builders Christmas 2018 + sentiment strip from Background Builders Christmas
Inks: SU, real red, emerald envy, baked brown sugar
Die: MFT Die-namics, stitched traditional tags

 Now since I've been neglecting the purples a bit my final offering today is a bright and sparkly purple and silver Christmas card.


I simply stamped the strips onto white card, edged them with silver washi - trimmed right down on the top and bottom strips - and matted it all onto a purple card base. Easy peasy!

Ink: Ranger distress, wilted violet
Silver washi from my stash

 OK that's all the introduction completed. Tomorrow sees the big reveal and blog hop in the morning and then the stamps go on sale in the evening - 9.00pm UK time.

    Adore that elegant gift bag and tag Jane ... so clever. I've been swooning over that and trying to get a different idea in my head! Simply impossible. Love the purple too ... before I saw that one I guessed you'd have some purple beauty up your sleeve and you've not disappointed. Fab ideas x
