Sunday Slot

Today I'm sharing a card I created to play along with the Stencil Challenge at STAMPlorations.

Here's my card:

I started by creating a background using two Funky Fossil stencils - Treadplate and Abstract Bamboo Background. I chose some bright contrasting distress ink colours and then die cut the panel using a double stitched MFT die.

The images and greeting are from Funky Fossil's Adventure stamp set and I simply stamped them straight on top of the distress ink background. One of the reasons I chose to use distress ink rather than distress oxide ink is because it is easier to stamp on top of, the oxide ink is much more opaque.

I finished off by matting the panel onto black and then onto a white card base.

Supplies:
Stamps: Funky Fossil, Adventure
Inks: Ranger distress, blueprint sketch, lucky clover; Versafine Clair, nocturne
Stencils: Funky Fossil, Treadplate, Abstract Bamboo Background
Die: MFT Die-namics, double stitched rectangle stx

Thanks so much for your time today, I'm so pleased you came to visit my blog.

Keep safe, stay home and craft!
