Time For Tea Designs - Dog Gone Mutts

Hi everyone!

I'm up on the Time For Tea Designs blog today with this sweet and simple CAS card.

I started by choosing a strip of paper from the Brighter Days pad and then stamped and coloured up the dog house and bowl from Dog Gone Mutts in matching shades.

Don't you just love this dog having a good old scratch? I think I was channelling a Golden Labrador when I chose his colours.

I used the matching dies to cut out the images and sentiment and popped the dog and kennel up onto foam pads.

Thanks so much for looking today. Stay safe and keep crafting!

Time For Tea Designs - Boo Spider

Hi everyone!

I'm up on the Time For Tea Designs blog today with this cute Halloween card.

I've used the spider from Spooky Circle Tags as my focal image and added in some googly eyes and a wobbler spring to increase the fun! I then matted up the spider using Circle of Love nesting dies.

I created a background using the Dancing Dandelions stencil and ripe persimmon distress oxide ink.

The sentiment was cut using Anthony's Alpha dies and I kept to a black and orange Halloween colour palette.

What are you creating for Halloween? Be sure to share your T4TD creations on social media!

T4TD Instahop

Hey! I'm so pleased you found your way to my blog today as I want to tell you all about a T4TD Instahop that's going on to celebrate World Card Making Day.

There's the chance to win £25 of T4TD goodies, so this is one hop you'll definitely want to join in.

All the T4TD DT have made cards showcasing their favourite techniques. No surprises then that my card uses not only a favourite technique - masking, but also a favourite genre - Clean & Simple.

I just love how a stamp is able to shine out when left uncoloured, but almost surrounded by a block of blended colours. And its's so simple to achieve.

Simply stamp and mask the image then mask a box around it, allowing some of the stamped lines to extend outside the box.  Then add your favourite colours of ink.

Supplies:
Stamps: T4TD, You're Elephantastic
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black; Ranger distress oxide, cracked pistachio, salty ocean
Pens: Copic, B04, C0, G02; Sakura white gel

Be sure to pop over to the T4TD Instagram feed to find the beginning of the Instahop or start at my post and follow your way around. Here's the links you'll need - @timeforteadesigns or @purplejetjt. You have until 12 noon on 4th October to complete the hop.

Thanks for looking today and good luck with the Instahop.

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Uniko September Release - Introducing Pattern Building Christmas Tree

I can't believe it's already the last day of introduction to Uniko's awesome Christmassy September release.

How much fun is this set!

Always a favourite combo of mine is the kraft, black and white mix on my first card. Do you love my combination of stamps from the set? The most difficult thing about using them is deciding which will be included!

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pattern Building Christmas Tree
Ink: Memento, tuxedo black
Pens: Prismacolor pencils, white

And just when I thought I'd got my favourite colour combo I repeated the same tree stamping in colours I love even more! Well I suppose it might have something to do with the purple.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pattern Building Christmas Tree
Ink: Memento, grape jelly, danube blue, pear tart

Of course the stamps can be used in other ways apart from building a tree. I think they look pretty cool as hanging Christmas decorations.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Pattern Building Christmas Tree
Inks: Memento, espresso truffle, love letter, cantaloupe

So that's a wrap! Make your mind up time now.

It's what I call a small but perfect release and probably all of it is going to jump straight into your basket.

I've a few more shares tomorrow and there's the usual chance to win the entire release by leaving comments around the Uniko and DT blogs.

Thanks for your time today, I'm so pleased you found your way to my blog.

Uniko September Release - Introducing Stencil Flower Power #1

Welcome back to my second post featuring Uniko.  I'm showcasing the new Flower Power #1 stencil which is part of the September Uniko release.

And as all the other items in this release are Christmas related I decided to use the stencil for Christmas cards too.

I masked off halfway on a square card front and then inked through the stencil with red ink - thinking poinsettia here.

I then added in some holly leaves from Winter Foliage - an older stamp set and a sentiment from Christmas Sentiments - introduced yesterday.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Winter Foliage + matching dies, Christmas Sentiments
Inks: Memento, tuxedo black, cottage ivy, rhubarb stalk

Then I got to thinking that the half stencil reminded me of a star and my next two card were on a roll. I used some cool chilly winter colours for the first of these cards.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Builders Winter Wonderland, Christmas Wishes
Stencil: Uniko, Flower Power #1
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress oxide, tumbled glass, salty ocean, peacock feathers

I stamped the Winter Wonderland image onto scrap paper first to create a mask so that I could reproduce the curve for the background inking.

I liked this design so much that I did it again in some warmer but untraditional colours. The greetings on this pair of cards is from the previously released Christmas Wishes.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Background Builders Winter Wonderland, Christmas Wishes
Stencil: Uniko, Flower Power #1
Inks: Versafine Clair, nocturne; Ranger distress oxide, dried marigold, kitsch flamingo, seedless preserves

One more introduction to come tomorrow - the most amazing and unique stamp set I've seen and then on Sunday at 9.00am UK time everything will be in the store for you to buy.

Thanks so much for looking today, hope to see you again tomorrow.

Stay safe and keep crafting!
