Wednesday Words

Today I'm sharing a card I created for the Die Cuts Challenge at Perfectly CAS.

Here's my card:

I started by colouring shades of blue stripes to create an ombre blue background onto a scrap piece of card. I then die cut the Let It Snow.

I stamped a trio of snowflakes to finish off this first card.

Then I looked at the left over piece of ombre card with the negative of the die cut and thought to put that to use. So I die cut a white Let It Snow, adhered the ombre strip to white card stock, added some more Copic colours to fill the space and inlaid the die back into the aperture.

As it turns out this second card is my favourite!

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko, Snowflake Serenade
Die1' CUTplorations, Let It snow
Inks: SU, pool party, night of navy; Memento, summer sky
Pens: Copic, B0000, B000,B00,B02, B04, B14, B18, BG01

Last month I was lucky enough to be a winner at Perfectly CAS with this card HERE. Thanks so much for the pick, I'm delighted!

Thanks so much for your time today, I'm so happy you came to visit my blog.

Keep safe, stay home and craft instead!

Tuesday Talk

Today I'm sharing a card I created using the picture inspiration from Cutplorations.

I used the colours and the background textures to inspire my card.

I die cut the polaroid frame and placed it on the card front to help me decide where to stamp the background images. I then die cut the bird and placed them on top of the frame.

I chose an uplifting sentiment quote that I thought matched and stamped it under the frame.

Supplies:
Stamps: STAMPlorations, New Beginnings; Uniko, Background Blocks Graffiti, Wonderful Day, Mid Century Modern Florals
Inks: SU, sahara sand, crushed curry; Memento, teal zeal, tuxedo black
Dies: MFT Die-namics, polaroid shaker frame; Unknown, birds on a branch

Huge thanks for looking today. I really appreciate your visit to my blog.

And keep crafting!
