AAA Cards Challenge #197 - One Inch Strip + optional twist Coloured Cardbase

A new CAS challenge has just started at AAA Cards.

Using a one inch strip to contain everything on the card front should really help enormously to keep a card CAS.

I opted for the twist of a coloured card base and then die cut a once inch strip from patterned paper.

The paper is from Lavinia and so is the image. The sentiment is from Funky Fossil's Small Print #2.

Friday Focus

Today I'm sharing a card i created for the Magical Challenge at CASology.

I can never resit anything themed around magic and of course I knew it had to be a delve into my Lavinia stamps for this challenge.

I prepared a smooshed watercolour background and then stamped straight on top. The greeting is also a Lavinia stamp.

Inks: ranger distress, picked raspberry, wilted violet, mermaid lagoon; Versafine Clair, nocturne
