Saturday Scribbles

Another colour combo to inspire over at CAS Colours & Sketches this week - love it!

http://cascoloursandsketches.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/colour-challenge-101.html

And as I'm on a bit of a Christmas roll at the moment it just had to be!

I started by stamping the background in the first two colours from the combo and then gave some thought to the metallic silver element needed. That was solved by die cutting a snowflake from silver card.

I finished off with my signature twine threaded button, but with a bit of a twist. I didn't have the correct colour twine so I used white and coloured it with lost lagoon ink - I'm really loving how this gives a patchy effect to the twine.

Supplies:
Stamps: Uniko Studio, Backgrounf Builders Christmas
Inks: SU, lost lagoon; Memento, London fog
Die: Die'Sire, snowflakes
Punch: Xcut, corner rounder
Embellishments: twine & button from my stash

Thank you for visiting my blog today, hope you liked what you saw and will come back again.
