Are you getting ready for Halloween? Well we're certainly hoping so over at The Male Room. This month we're welcoming Anita from Crafts and Art Fun with Anita as our Guest Designer. Anita lives in Germany and this is her first ever Halloween car, so go leave her some love.
And I had such fun putting this card together and actually used some of a paper I've been hoarding and stroking for far too long!
I started by cutting - ouch actually cutting - into that paper to make a background panel. I chose a corner that had little flecks of orange in amongst the cobwebs, such a must have Halloween colour. I then picked up on all the colours for my digi stamp Harry Potter lookalike. Sorry any HP fans for not using the correct Gryffindor colours.
A trail of gems shooting magic from the wand and a spooky banner just completed my card perfectly.
Supplies:
Stamps: Bugaboo, the chosen one; Clearly Besotted, Halloween Spirit
Paper: Basic Grey, eerie
Promarkers: ginger, spice, henna, peach, blush, dusky pink, ivory, col grey 1-5, leaf green, orchid, amethyst
Embellishments: Ppaermania, adhesive stones iridescent
Don't you just love the mayhem and fun of Halloween? I don't go in for decorating the house these days, but I always get in a basket of treats just in case anyone knocks.
I'm so looking forward to seeing your Halloween cards. Go check out the DT cards and then have some frightful fun and create your own magic.
Thanks for your time today, come back soon. And keep crafting!
Jane - this is absolutely brilliant. I adore the little HP lookalike, he's very cute! And that paper is just fab - I can see why you've been keeping it for something special (thanks for breaking it out now). Great card xxxx
